We had a pleasant stay. The environment is very very quiet and pretty. The host is very nice and has good tips. I recommend it!

The location was convenient for walking into the little village of Cubjac with many surrounding towns within an hours drive. The kitchen had all of the amenities we needed which was perfect as we cooked most of our meals at the house. We also appreciated the charcoal grill. The property was absolutely stunning. We were in awe of the main house as we drove up the driveway. We enjoyed walking around the garden and on the trails in the surrounding woods. The bed was comfortable and the dining room, living room, and outdoor seating was perfect for 2 couples. The bathrooms were clean and the water pressure was good for showers. We did learn that you won’t get hot water if you try to shower while the dishwasher is running. 😂 Communication with Catherine and Maxence was great. They were always responsive and Maxence very insightfully helped us plan our itineraries for several day trips including markets, wineries, hikes, and gardens.

Excellent stay at Christine and Francis' who are very welcoming, friendly and attentive hosts. We would recommend this very well-equipped (crockery, bathrobes, blankets...), comfortable and quiet cottage without hesitation. The decoration is neat and the "little" touches from Christine and Francis are more than appreciable. 😋 We'll be happy to go back.

home with all the comforts, in a small village surrounded by greenery. guaranteed relaxation. very friendly and helpful owners. all perfect for our Périgord vacation house also equipped for our little dog, with towels, bowls and bathtub to wash his legs. highly recommended! thank you dear Beverly and Alec
