We appreciate all the details Julia put in to make her apartment so comfortable, like electric outlet adapter for foreigners, microwave oven, quality appliances. The bathroom is large with a good shower and a sitting bench. Dedicated parking near the front door. Laundry room with washer and dryer. Quick & easy communication. Good value. Highly recommend.

Gorgeous little home on the ocean. The host was very responsive and helpful. We had one fantastic meal at the hotel restaurant. The hot tub was also a great addition. One note, the floor is a bit noisy so keep that in mind if you have small children and don’t want to wake them by walking around. Other than that, we would stay here again. Thank you!

Die Unterkunft war einfach zu finden und der Check-In war unkompliziert. Der Parkplatz ist direkt bei der Unterkunft und schön groß. Leider ist das größere Bett nur 120 cm breit, somit nicht gut für zwei Personen geeignet.

Beates apartment is an absolute gem! Perfect location in a quiet location in walking distance from everything. The walk to the city center is through beautiful little streets with typical white houses and cobblestoned streets. Bus stop is a short walk away if the weather is bad. The apt is located right beside a great hiking trail to Stoltzekleiven that I would strongly recommend to do. The apartment has magnificent views over the fjord, and a nice spacious balcony to enjoy the views from. The hosts are super friendly, and had lots of tips for restaurants etc. They replied fast for the couple of questions we had. Would highly recommend this apartment!! Thanks for a great stay!

Nice place close to fantastic climbing on Sotra on one side and Bergen on the other side. The hosts were quick to respond and very welcoming. Would definitely recommend!

Auf einem Roadtrip zu viert durch Norwegen haben wir hier einen Zwischenstopp gemacht und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Alles war sauber, die Kommunikations war top und das Einchecken sehr einfach. Wir finden es hier in Norwegen toll, wie hoch die Vertrauensbasis beim buchen der Unterkunft ist und dass die Gastgeber auch viele Sachen zur Mitbenutzung da lassen. Hier bei John gab es viele nützliche Sachen, die wir ebenfalls benutzen durften.

Bard's place is an excellent choice for us. Good location and even a great idea driving around to neighboring places. Private, quiet place and clean. The sauna is my plus favorite. Bard has complete amenities in the apartment. I highly recommend.

Super Unterkunft um Bergen zu erkunden. Schnell mit dem Bus in der Stadt. Check in war auch schon früher möglich. Wohnung gemütlich und hatte alles was man brauchte. Sehr nette Gastgeberin!

We had a wonderful time at Turid’s cabin. Truly incredible space, comfortable and cozy. Lots of things to do inside and outside the house. We rented one of the boats and had a beautiful couple of days out on the fjord. Turid and Audun also gifted us some very fresh eggs from their farm, were available at all times and helped us with recommendations and any questions we had. We loved it. We will return. A very magical place. 10/10

Maria and Jarle were fantastic hosts! The Cottage by the Fjord is a charming and cozy spot that felt like home. We loved the cider walk and local hikes and maybe most of all, just hanging out on the water and in the backyard. On top of it, Jarle and Maria were quick to respond and assist. Thank you, Jarle, for telling us the history of your family home. So special! Fantastic and idyllic stay!

My mother and I had a fantastic stay! The house was very clean and in good condition. The view was spectacular, much better than expected from images. Would highly recommend to stay here. Would love to come back one day.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche in Skjold. Die Aussicht aus dem Wohnzimmer ist wirklich einmalig. Die Unterkunft ist noch einmal besser als sie schon auf den Bildern aussieht.

Wonderful, cozy apartment! Would especially recommend if you’re renting a car, but it works with the bus, too. Nicolai was very friendly and helpful, and the apartment felt very safe and homey.

STOP! Do not look any further. If you are looking in this region, you have found happiness with this place! Morten is a gem of a person and this is a gem house. Pros: The location is unbeatable with great views overlooking the water. The area has a ton of hiking to explore the coast, while not being too far from Bergen to explore the city. The house is nicely equipped and very comfortable with many places to spread out and relax. The beds were notably comfortable. It also comes with a rich history and a family touch in the decoration. With that, it comes with an optional host plus. If you have time, there are opportunities to take advantage of Morten's services to explore, fish or go crabbing. It really is a place to relax and explore in great comfort. Cons: ...yup, none.

Wir hatten als kleine Familie eine wundervolle Zeit in dieser Unterkunft. Schon bei der Ankunft haben uns kleine Aufmerksamkeiten begrüßt – so eine schöne Geste! Die Wohnung war mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, super sauber und unglaublich gemütlich. Das Highlight war der traumhafte Ausblick auf Bergen, den wir sehr genossen haben. Auch die Lage war ideal - ruhig, aber alles gut erreichbar mit oder ohne Auto. Parkmöglichkeit (mit E-Ladeoption) vor der Tür oder kostenfrei etwa 8 min zu Fuß entfernt die Straße hoch. Die Gastgeber waren unglaublich freundlich, sehr hilfsbereit und jederzeit erreichbar. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt.

Gorgeous location. Peaceful walks right out the door. Close to Herdla which has quite a few interesting places like a bird sanctuary and sauna. The host is friendly and super helpful!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren und sehr ruhigen Aufenhalt in Håvards Haus! Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht, Einkaufßmärkte sind in der Nähe und Bergen ist schnell mit dem Auto erreicht. Das Haus war sehr sauber. Die Straße zum Haus ist zwar etwas schmal aber das Haus ist gut zu erreichen. Hävard ist freundlich und einfach zu erreichen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. ☺️

Wonderfully peaceful and quirky home on the water! We had the upstairs area of the house, which used to be a ski lodge, and the layout was interesting but very comfortable. There's so much personality to the house that it takes a bit to absorb, but we had a very lovely time. The laundry machine is commercial and worked great, which was fantastic for us since we were traveling with a baby. There's also an efficient EV charger available! Laila was friendly and helpful. Die Unterkunft ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und schön modern. Man fühlt sich direkt wohl und wie zuhause. Randy ist super freundlich, führt einen durch die Wohnung und hat viele tolle Tipps für Ausflüge. Die Umgebung ist traumhaft - ein phantastischer Fjord und viel Ruhe. Sehr abgelegen und die engen Straßen erfordern ein Talent beim Rückwärtsfahren. Aber dafür ist der kleine Ort perfekt, um zur Ruhe zu kommen. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und man findet alles, was das Herz begehrt. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und gemütlich. Das Badezimmer mit der großen Badewanne ist ein Traum! Der Ausblick aus dem Wohnzimmer ist unbezahlbar. Unglaublich zu beobachten, wie bei Regen mehrere Wasserfälle entstehen!

We hebben een prachtige vakantie gehad! Het apartement ligt prachtig aan het fjord, het uitzicht is schitterend. Het apartement is superschoon en fris en is van alle gemakken voorzien! Er is koffie en thee aanwezig, heel fijn! De bedden zijn goed, we hebben heerlijk geslapen! De omgeving is prachtig en uitermate geschikt voor uitstapjes / wandelingen in de prachtige omgeving. De host is supervriendelijk, en geeft aan waar de mooiste plekken in de omgeving zijn. Bv. wandelingen, maar ook waar watervallen zijn. Het verblijf in Løfallstrand vonden wij in één woord geweldig!

Staying at Martin‘s was an absolute repeatable experience! We probably will come back 😃 A modern, cozy home with an absolute beautiful view. The balcony invites you to relax. The lighting and sound setup was easy to understand, modern and absolutely satisfying! The kitchen has everything you are looking for when it comes to cooking and keeping your wine tempered. The beds were super comfortable and the bathroom big and clean. Especially the little nooks with the color lighting were the highlight of our 7 year old! Martin is always quick to respond with questions and if needed with useful tips and always very friendly. We absolutely recommend this apartment!!! P.S.: Norwegian gin and beer is very good! 😉
