Vacation rentals with breakfast in Fritz Creek

WOW!! Sea Bright Lodge is an amazing one-of-a-kind experience. From the start, you have Connie taking care of you and helping to coordinate your stay and experience. On the day-of, you have a private skipper, Phil (and super awesome doggo, Boomer) greeting you at Homer Spit and acting as both your transportation and host to take you over to China Poot Bay. Upon arrival, you are greeted to a total labor of love built by Pat McBride - an amazing home built onto the shores of China Poot Bay (with a wood-fired sauna!) in one of the most secluded and tranquil locations you have likely encountered. Beautiful rustic home perched atop the beach that appears and disappears with the huge tides. If you are lucky to stay during a super low tide, there's tons of mussels to be had. During your stay, Phil acts as your host and private skipper taking you where you want to go to - we went to Grewingk Glacier, Grace Ridge, and Seldovia. You're not bound by water taxi schedules, and Phil makes sure you're getting dropped off and picked up promptly. In-between Phil will tell you a lot of tales of his times on the seas and also be constantly on the lookout for wildlife. At night, Sea Bright is tranquil with often the only sound being the bore tide coming in-and-out as you sit on the deck. It's almost a shame to go to sleep as morning will come too quickly. The stay goes by way too quickly - Sea Bright Lodge is magical. As you depart with Phil and Boomer on the Tide Runner, he does one last search for wildlife as we leave China Poot Bay and brings you back to Homer Spit. Connie is there waiting for you to arrive, with a truck, to help bring your luggage up the dock as you exchange farewell with the Skipper. As a final wrap up, Connie makes sure that your experience went well and is kind to listen to some final stories of your experience to wrap up such a wonderful experience. If we are ever in the Homer area, we hope to have the privilege to stay at Sea Bright Lodge again - this is something we will be reminiscing about for many years to come.

What an absolutely amazing place to spend some time in Homer. The home was clean and perfectly decorated. Everything we could have wanted was in the home including paper plates. The water pressure was unexpected for Alaska and a welcome surprise. Overall one of the best and perfectly described air bnb’s my family has ever stayed in. Highly recommend.

The chickens are what sold us! She also had treats for us every day, and was super helpful with reccomendations for in the area! Highly recomend Shiva Boom and the Norman Lowell art gallery. She told us about them and we were madly in love with both. Can't wait to stay there again in the future!

We had a great stay in this beautiful cabin with an awesome view. Heather was a gracious host who provided many special touches to make us feel at home. Linens, bedding and toiletries were luxurious. Her place is clean with beautiful decor. We were even treated with a special surprise as we are celebrating a milestone anniversary. Thanks, Heather, for making it memorable.

We enjoyed our stay. Our host accommodated our early check in we needed to prepare for the wedding we were going to. She provided a hair dryer, iron and ironing board for us. The room has a great view of Kachemak Bay. It is very peaceful and relaxing.

As advertised! Comfortable for the entire family. Great location, easy walk to Bishops Beach, restaurants and an art gallery. Lovely to have a cup of coffee in bed and enjoy the stellar view of the water and mountain range. So very peaceful. We will be back!😊

5 star Our stay was terrific! We found the stay lovely in so many ways: we had a lovely room, our breakfast was homemade and delicious, our every possible need was taken care of, and when the unexpected happened (a 7.2 earthquake farther away) and the tsunami siren alarmed- we were in the safe zone so we did not have to evacuate in the middle of the night. Thank you for everything! Our time in Homer was highlighted by our stay with Majestic Views!

This place is beautiful! The home is decorated with exquisite pieces of art that you could look at for hours and the most amazing view you may ever see is just outside your bedroom window. Michael’s was very friendly and inviting. We had a really nice conversation over a delicious breakfast he made for us. He allows dogs which is hard to find these days; we had the perfect weekend getaway and got to bring our furbaby along! We will definitely be back!

We loved staying at Clam Gulch Lodge. Gary and Pam were awesome hosts. The breakfast was amazing--reindeer sausage and biscuits with a beautiful bowl of fruit, and we really loved staying in the King Room. It's newly and beautifully remodeled with very comfortable beds and its own bathroom with two showers. We'd highly recommend staying at Clam Gulch Lodge and hope to return ourselves someday. Michael was a great communicator and enthusiastic host. He gave us great tips for Homer including some of the best pizza and bagels we’ve had in awhile. He makes nice strong coffee in the morning! And the room’s view was perhaps the neatest we’ve ever had!

This is a very nice lodge located in a lovely spot, just off of the main highway between Kenai & Homer. Gary said there's access to the beach up the road from here; behind the lodge, you can see the ocean from the yard, but you are on a cliff over-looking the Gulf. Gary & Pam were great hosts: they talked to all 3 of us, gave my son books to borrow, showed us our room, brought extra blankets, etc.Everything is super clean and really lovely. Breakfast was perfect: They asked our breakfast preferences (My husband and son like a lot of protein at breakfast), and then offered cookies, hot chocolate, & tea in the evening. Breakfast was bacon, eggs, avocado, tomotoes, toast, & fruit with all kinds of available toppings. Another guest had a big bowl of oatmeal and fruit. They don't require everyone to come to a concensus about breakfast time; each group has it whenever it's best for them. There was a tsunami warning at bedtime, and Gary talked to us for almost an hour b/c we were nervous.

We were looking for a cabin/ lodge experience for our daughter and son in law that are visiting from Texas. The Clam Gulch Lodge is just the place! The view of the Cook Inlet is spectacular. The hospitality was lovely. And the breakfast that is included topped off our whole visit! #highlyrecommend
