Downtown Historic Attic Suite

This upstairs suite is in an historic 1917 cottage, in downtown Anchorage, and is a rare find! Steps away from restaurants, bars, convention center, bus station, museum, bike trails, parks and pubs. It shares the building with a hair salon on the main level. With a private entrance, it is upstairs under the attic eaves, so the bathroom ceiling is slanted (FYI super tall people!) quality towels & linens, a full-sized pull out sofa bed in the living room, the queen bed is cool gel memory foam!

Located 18 miles outside of Homer. Hand built here on the ranch in the style of my family's hunting cabins; with a few finishing touches. Offering a full kitchen, bathroom , shower, this cabin has electric lights and a oil heater in place of the temperamental wood stoves. Our area offers stunning views of Kachamack bay, our small ranch and peony farm. Cozy downtown apartment with 2 queen beds in separate areas. Full Kitchen with stove, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator. Bath with shower. There is a washer and dryer available upstairs that is shared with other guests. The apartment is downtown Anchorage, close to 4th Ave. dog sled races, court house and art galleries. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. Guests have loved this new apartment because it is comfortable and cool with our warm summer.

All the comforts of home while visiting the city. Lots of extras in the kitchen and some breakfast items provided including bagels, waffles, eggs, and sometimes fruit. Backyard is fully fenced. Some games, toys, writing stuff & books. There are two bedrooms with three beds. The walk-in closet has 2 extra twin mattress you can set up on the floor. Total: 1 queen bed and 4 twin bed/mattress on floor (5). Home is located on a busy road.
