Clean, comfortable and cute for those looking for a comfy place to get away from it all. Carmen’s Cabin was built by my daughter Carmen and her father in 2005. Open, bright, clean and cozy, this beautiful and efficient cabin is found in a wonderfully pleasant and family friendly neighborhood. It was situated on site to take maximum advantage of the stunning views of Kachemak Bay and the Grewingk Glacier. This is a no-pet listing, just right for one or two people. Heated Dry Cabin, with electricity Offering a retreat from the business of town with stunning views of the glaciers and Kachemak Bay. This cabin offers a kitchenette with mini fridge. we supply water on the counter for cooking and washing. NO RUNNING WATER, WINTER stays have use of a old fashioned outhouse. SUMMER guest have access to our washhouse with shower. . We are a small family ranch/peony farm. Located 18 miles out of Homer, on East end rd. about a 30 min drive out of town.

This cottage sits at the end of a quiet road just a 10 minute walk from downtown Hope, AK. The house is on 3 acres and has great sun on the deck. The cottage has heat and electricity. Bathroom includes hot shower, sink and toilet. Kitchen is fully furnished. Queen sized Bed is in loft up a steep staircase. Owners are next door and happy to answer questions, particularly about rafting Sixmile Creek, as Gareth is a guide for FlowAK. Be advised there is no gas station in Hope!

We are easy to find - right on the Seward Hwy. The cuteness of the house and the gorgeous mountain view, takes your mind off the gravel yard. :) We now have Wi-Fi!!
