Kid-friendly vacation rentals in French Basque Country

We had a great time with the family three generations. The house is beautiful and very pleasant to live with others, and it was a pleasure to swim in the heated pool at the end of October. The scenery that surrounds the house is really spectacular. We don't get tired of rediscovering it every day depending on the weather. We leave regret this beautiful place. Beautiful walks around the house and the Basque Country, Spain are very accessible by car. Thanks to Sonia for our pleasant exchanges. Anne and Family

We had a great time at Yves and Scarlett's, everything was perfect! The accommodation is very pleasant, well-equipped, and perfectly suitable for our two children (cot, high chair, toys, etc.). The garden is beautiful and quiet, and we really enjoyed the pool, hot tub and net. We will come back without hesitation!

We had a great time in a charming house, located in a peaceful area, very close to the beach and shops by car. Loïc and Johanna's welcome was warm, and the house was spotless, perfectly equipped with everything you needed to feel at home. Thank you very much to them for their kindness and availability.

We had a lovely stay at Sharon and Joop's home. The latter is well thought out, accessible, pleasant and you feel good there. Being able to park next to the accommodations is a real advantage. We really enjoyed this place which is very well maintained, very clean inside and outside the accommodation. The welcome was very nice from the hosts, always concerned about the well-being of the tenants. The explanations are clear. We recommend a visit to Sharon and Joop without worries.

Awesome stay A true haven of peace

Paula met us when we arrived to show us the apartment and was very helpful. The location is very rural and beautiful with walkable trails from the house. Well organized kitchen for cooking meals. Lovely yard to relax , we had a lot of rain but when the sun came out we really enjoyed sitting out. Paula and her family were very kind and respectful.

Our Airbnb in Donostia was everything we could have wished for and more. Centrally located, bright, well equipped, tastefully furnished and very comfortable. Amaya and Andrea have a first-class apartment that is perfect for short or longer term stays. Amaya was an excellent communicator and happily assisted us with making special arrangements which enhanced our visit to her beautiful city. Her recommendations for restaurants and activities were all spot on. We rent many Airbnbs and would recommend their’s to anyone looking for a high standard in accommodations.

Great family stay at Sébastien and Gwennaelle's: nice accommodation as shown in the photos, with a beautiful view of the beautiful garden. Many beautiful hiking trails (accessible to children) start just a few steps from the house. The hospitality was great: we felt at home, and had plenty of advice (hikes, restaurants, etc.)! The kids loved it (and so did we). We'll be happy to go back!

Great accommodation ideally located in Anglet with a very nice terrace! Sandrine is very responsive, accommodating and friendly. Everything went very well, to be repeated!

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment itself was really lovely - very contemporary and well equipped. It had great views of the bay and was in a really good location for walking to everything. All in all we would thoroughly recommend this apartment as it really added to our experience of San Sebastián.

We loved our stay at this flat. Spent four nights and it was extremely comfortable with an incredible view- my husband and I loved sitting on the balcony each evening watching the surfers. Highly recommend staying in Gros- it feels more local and was super quiet at night. Plus an easy walk into old town. Wish we could have stayed longer! Hosts were incredibly responsive and friendly.

This apartment is very adorable and looks much better than the photos. Feels like a home away from home near the sea. The kitchen has everything you need, including the seasoning. The sofa bed was very comfortable and firm. The bathroom has one step from the shower, needs some attention when stepping out. Soap/ shampoo and lotion is like hotel. Would love to come back and spend more time in the area. It's convenient for day trips to Spain as well. Recommended.

very clean home the amenities are recent very peaceful cul-de-sac there is a door to the bathroom! much more convenient easy to find, parking for the perfect vehicle air conditioning/fan are essential in the listing where it's hot A trip that went perfectly well.

Mikel’s place is well appointed, clean, quiet and comfortable. The beds in particular were very comfortable and the balcony was such a nice bonus! Mikel was an excellent host; very responsive and helpful. It was fantastic to be near the beach and a bit away from the old town (which was extremely loud and rowdy while we were in town), but still easy walking distance. We would certainly recommend Mikel’s apartment.

This Airbnb is gorgeous and so well located! It felt like home and couldn’t have asked for a better location. It was super clean and was a great size for our family! Would love to stay again!

Very pleasant stay at Aña's who was a very good host, always available and attentive. The accommodation was clean and the kitchen very well-equipped which is rare. Sare is a very charming village with pretty walks and hikes starting from the village.

Very well located , very comfortable (outstanding building !!) and very reactive host

Cacilda gave us an excellent welcome and filled us with very nice little touches. The apartment is in a very good location, very close to the center but a little away from the hustle and bustle of the city, many discoveries are possible without using the car because we came by train. There is a bike rental company near the apartment. Biarritz is, however, an expensive city with a reputation that is a bit overrated and very artificial. The coastline is not very interesting for swimmers (too many dangerous waves) and for hikers (no coastal trails worthy of the name), except for surfers. To be informed, do not rely on the tourist office which is useless and not very communicative.

We had a pleasant stay in a very beautiful decor with the bonus of the caves of Urdax 70M from the rental. The village is also very pretty, with departures for nice walks in the surrounding area. The border is not far away with its shops and restaurants. Thank you, Gema, for the Basque welcome cake. The accommodation is spacious but the shower a little small. We are delighted with our stay.
