We are set on a working vegetable farm, we also have chickens, goats and pigs. The apartment shares a porch with the main house, but once inside you are completely private. Come enjoy the pioneer valley. Great place for hiking, kayaking, biking and so much more. *I was a Superhost for 3 years - downgraded due to an unexpected cancelation

Your own gracious living space with very well equipped kitchen, private deck, entrance, garden, country roads for dog walks, forests, meadows, mountain streams, stone walls, tranquility. The cottage is attached to the main house but is a "separate" entity and again has its own private entrance as mentioned above. No smoking in the cottage please but on the deck just fine. Janet and Bob are warm, interested and engaging hosts. It was wonderful to meet them and to learn about their lives, interests, careers and family. The room is just as pictured, at the far end of the upstairs hall, so private feeling, even as the rest of the home is shared. Breakfast was on the screen porch overlooking a large, beautiful, lush, yard. They are about a 15 minute walk from the heart of downtown Amherst, so I didn't use my car once after arriving. To be clear: it's a 15 minute walk, not a 5 minute walk, but being on foot during my whole time in Amherst was another wonderful aspect to my visit.

My daughter stayed at Eric’s house during her college visit. She liked the house as it’s located right next to Smith College and surrounded by restaurants and nice shops. And more importantly she had very good sleep after a long day travel from California.

Stunning lake view as soon as you wake up, was perfect for a Fall visit with the colors. Dorothy was lovely - welcoming, helpful and making sure we had everything we needed. A great book collection. A wonderful retreat, to relax and rejuvenate - the lake view is calming and meditative. Highly recommend! Will certainly be back.
