We were in the house for a JGA and felt more than comfortable. The large kitchen-living room on the 1st floor offers the perfect space for a wonderful girls' night together! The rooms and bathrooms were modern, new and clean. Thanks to the good weather, we were even able to spend the evening behind the house with the cozy lounge furniture in the evening sun. Everything around perfect! 🙏🏼😍

With a lot of taste and high quality furnished outbuilding of Ludwigseck Castle, located in the middle of nature and tranquility directly at the castle. The highlight is the light-flooded, very well-equipped kitchen with magnificent panoramic views of the surrounding hills. We felt very comfortable here. The only minor drawbacks were the occasionally somewhat unstable hot water supply and the tiny refrigerator, which was unfortunately much too small for our group of 6 over the Easter weekend.

I had the most wonderful stay at Petra's place! The space is peaceful and cozy—a perfect retreat from everyday stresses. Petra is an exceptional host- very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. She goes above and beyond to make guests feel at home, offering a warm welcome with delicious handmade jam, a delightful selection of teas and coffees, and even breakfast and cake on Sunday mornings. The entire place has a warm and soulful vibe, with lots of little touches made with love that make it truly special. If you're an animal lover, you'll be delighted to meet Petra’s three handsome boys: two dogs and a cat. They are all super friendly and add to the homey atmosphere. Thank you Petra!

We had a very nice long weekend in the accommodation! The house and especially the living area are very nice and welcoming. The house is relatively secluded, so you are not disturbed and do not disturb anyone else :) Communication with Hansi was relaxed, as we arrived a little later than planned, we were able to check in easily by phone. We had booked 2 nights over Easter. The house is cozy and the surroundings are worth seeing. Especially with small children, you can have a relaxing vacation. Our youngest member of the tour group wanted to stay even longer. We had a really good time and... Astrid is an excellent hostess !

We more than enjoyed the time in the beautiful big house and especially in the beautiful garden. Beautiful memories remain in the circle of loved ones...

We wanted to spend a relaxing weekend getaway with close friends and Manfred‘s house was the most ideal place to be. The house is perfectly located - away from the hustle bustle of the city and close to nature. The views from the house are splendid and the proximity to the lake is cherry on the top! Manfred is a great host, was available to communicate when we needed him. The house was clean and cozy and we felt absolutely at home here. We have great memories here and will definitely recommend and love to visit again! Thank you :)

We really loved this holiday house - the view was brilliant and the house had everything we needed.

Beautiful log cabin in a large garden and through the fireplace it is really cozy in the evening. The kitchen is quite well equipped, in case you like to cook yourself. Only one pan was missing. Corinna was very friendly and uncomplicated.

A very nice place to stay. Although it is a bit remote, it is an excellent place to relax, especially thanks to the wellness area.

We enjoyed staying with Kevin very much. We found the apartment as described, everything was clean and well maintained. Sauna and pool were a dream after a long day out on the slopes. Bed and sofa bed were very comfortable. Only in the kitchen equipment we missed things such as garbage bags, pot sponge, baking paper, and were also unable to shop on Sundays. I would recommend the place at any time, and would love to come back.

The apartment, house and garden are uniquely beautiful. Everywhere there are views and vistas that contribute to switching off and coming down. You can take good care of yourself as a good bakery and supermarkets are not too far away

We were with a large group including baby with Heleen and her husband and we loved the accommodation: spacious, sufficient toilets and bathrooms for the group size, lots of parking, opportunities to stay indoors and outdoors - we liked it very much!

Heike and Detlef are very friendly and accommodating hosts. The apartment is read on the first floor on the edge of the forest as described in the photos. It is very homely and cozily furnished and we (me and my two children 17 and 11) really lacked nothing from the furnishings and kitchen utensils - at most a dishwasher. The bathroom is out of the apartment door - directly to the next door - in the hallway, but we found that completely problem-free. If you are looking for nature, peace and extremely nice landlords, you are in good hands here. There are enough excursion destinations for 2 weeks stay within 20 kilometers. We will definitely come back again in the summer!

The absolute highlight is the wellness area with pool, sauna and solarium under absolute privacy. The 2 hours agreed daily for the benefit of this area are completely sufficient. It is located in the immediate vicinity of the A7, so it is also very easy to reach. However, the noise of the A7 is audible, with the infinite bird concert from all corners covering this noise. When the door and windows are closed, you don't hear it, so it doesn't bother sleep. Wifi comes from the main building and is relatively weak. There's another guest wifi, as seen on Airbnb, but it's not working. I couldn't understand why the wifi distributor in the bedroom should serve. The phone number on Airbnb is not working Communication via text is flawless. Response in seconds and always positive. I wouldn't call the appartment dirty. However, a thorough cleaning in corners and edges seems long overdue.

The place is very cozy and fine, easy to feel good, rest and relax. The host is very relaxed and accommodating in dealing with guests and also directly informed about some local conditions (bakery, restaurant, etc.) Despite a very short-term booking, everything worked out wonderfully and easily.

We have already been here several times and that alone shows that we felt very comfortable. The cabin is well furnished and always clean. If you're looking for some peace and relaxation, this is the place to be. Hiking trails start in front of the door and if you want, you can reach sights in a short time on foot, by bike or by car. Chris and Leonie are super nice hosts and always easily accessible!

At our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Robert. Robert is a top host and incredibly friendly. He comes from the area and has tips and dishes in stock. Especially recommended is the biker ranch "ignition"! We will be happy to come back! Thank you 🤗

We felt very comfortable in the tiny house. The host was helpful if we had any questions and suggested good hiking routes. The tiny house is in a very quiet area and on the edge of nature. Due to the cuddly soft bedding, you had a very good night's sleep to start a long hikes the next day! If we were to return to the Rothaar Mountains, we would definitely choose the tiny house again 🙂

So we were extremely positively surprised and very satisfied. Nice apartment with everything you need. The attention to detail was great and we were received in a very friendly manner. Information about all things related to the stay and the surroundings as well as great information was immediately and gladly provided to us. If only all hosts were so open-minded. Great courtyard, also very nicely decorated here. Parking is available directly opposite the house with a short walk to the apartment. What an incredible stay! Tobias and Susan were wonderful hosts. Very responsive and extremely helpful if we had questions. There were 4 of us who stayed at the apartment. The space was perfect for us. It felt like home, we had enough room and privacy. We even hosted a dinner for our family who lived in town. All the kitchenware and appliances worked great. Even Tobias came by and sat with us during dinner and shared some treats with us. They also provided us wood for an outdoor fire. It was a very peaceful and quiet farm. We ended up extending our stay from 7 days to 11 days and luckily the apartment was still available. With our extended stay they brought us fresh towels for the remaining week we were there. I can't say enough good things about our hosts or the location. It will be added to my favorites! We really enjoyed our stay, Tobias and Susan.
