Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Frankenau

We stayed at Anita's place for the second time. As it was two years ago, it was very clean. The space complies with the descriptions. The sauna works great and warms up relatively quickly. The surrounding area is also great, there are lots of nice things to do. We missed the no longer available hot tub (which was clearly not included in photos or the description), but otherwise everything was great. Best regards :)

The accommodation is extremely well-equipped. Beautiful furniture and a well-equipped kitchen make it easy to feel right at home. 🙏🏽 The communication in advance was super good and everything was as described. Definitely recommended. If you arrive with several cars, then definitely check out the parking situation in advance, there are only 2 parking spaces at the house.

We've been to the property before, a year ago. Nothing has changed our impression: Great apartment with plenty of comfort, the surroundings are fantastic. Ilona was again a very good and pleasant host. Furthermore, an absolute recommendation!

We were on vacation with a group of good friends. Very nice cottage with small sauna. Above all, the quiet location is noteworthy! It was really a nice, relaxing break. Exactly what we expected! :)

We spent an extended weekend with 13 people in this beautiful cottage. We felt very comfortable. Everything was clean and above all the children were super satisfied and could play in the beautiful garden with the toys. The creek in particular was a highlight. We will be happy to come back.

We had a great stay with a total of three families. Ulla is a very nice, helpful and accommodating hostess. The accommodation and surroundings were really fantastic for a quiet break!

Beautiful location, surrounded by nature, lots of sunlight. House is cozily decorated, you feel right at home. Anything you need is available. Extra effort was made for our small children (baby cot, high chair, stair gate). Close to beautiful hiking trails and only 5 to 10 min drive to other places in Winterberg for skiing/sledding. In the evening enjoyed a campfire and the sauna. Communication with the owners prior to our stay went very smoothly!

We stayed with 2 adults and two 9-year-old children in Gisela's apartment. Due to the cozy furnishings, spacious layout of the rooms and the rustic outdoor area, we felt very comfortable from the beginning. The contact with Gisela is very nice and unobtrusive. On a cool day, she provided us with extra wood for the stove. Particularly noteworthy is the absolute tranquility! We would come back.

The house is perfectly located between many outdoor activities, which we enjoyed during our stay at their location. Our daughter was very pleased with the play set and toys, which were provided. We can most certainly recommend staying here.

We had a very nice few days in the quiet area at Claudia's. The apartment is beautiful and we were even greeted with a homemade cake! We were very pleased with the stay and can only recommend it.

We spent a very nice extended weekend in the old forest house and were very enthusiastic about the apartment, where nothing was missing (especially in the kitchen) and everything is visually so beautifully coordinated that you could only feel comfortable. We also particularly liked the garden and the location on the edge of the forest. You can start a hike directly, e.g. to the Dalheim Monastery or on the forest adventure trail. Helen's mother welcomed us very warmly and quickly answered and supported us with small questions. We will definitely come back when we are back in the area, it is a very relaxing place. Thank you so much!

We are a family of 4 with 2 small children. The apartment and garden were super large and beautifully bright. There was nothing missing in terms of household appliances. The location of the apartment was great, quiet area and everything quickly accessible within 15 minutes.

I spent a night in the apartment on my way through and would have liked to have stayed longer. A very nice, sweet apartment! Very clean, nicely decorated. Modern. The house itself was also very cute and in a beautiful environment. Check-in was easy and Juliane was very nice and always available. Highly recommended.

Already on the way, we were thrilled by the quiet, green surroundings. Thanks to the exact description we received before check-in, we got to the accommodation quickly and easily and were very impressed with the modern style of furnishings and the great views. The apartment has panoramic windows in both directions, the lush forest offers pure relaxation for the eyes and soul. We liked to sit in the loggia and listen to the forest sounds and sunbathe with a coffee. The bathroom has a nice rain shower. We also visited the sauna and pool, everything was perfect and we were even the only ones, probably because it is actually a winter sports area. We are a family with a baby and small poodle and felt very comfortable, so we actually didn't want to leave. The host is also very friendly and gave us all the information we needed. All around great - we will recommend this place and will be happy to come back.

Very friendly host! Beautiful and spacious house. We would definitely recommend it and would love to come back with the large group. Everything is child- and dog-friendly, modern and bright. The only thing that could have been better if our need for rooms (we were guests in a very variable constellation: parents with up to three children, but also individuals) had been requested in advance. We thought that the booking amount would include ALL bedrooms. However, we could have easily booked additional rooms - spontaneously and on site. Thank you for the stay, dear Paul

A fantastic accommodation, with a great garden that invites you to linger and take photos at this time of year. The mansion is in very good condition and was well cleaned. It offers plenty of space and sleeping arrangements to spend time there with several parties. Communication with Hand and Sylvia also worked smoothly, all around a great experience and a top service.

The house was very clean and everything was also available. The beautiful city center was within walking distance as well as several supermarkets. Torsten's mother takes care of the check-in (if you stand in front of the house, the mother lives to the left). Very friendly and accommodating and if any questions should arise, you could easily contact them.

It was really very nice and quiet! A well-equipped kitchen and a great living room that invites you to a game night together. The house is very clean and well lit. The terrace is very nice and the dogs were also able to romp around!
