Barn vacation rentals in France

We booked with a group of friends for a weekend and it was perfect. The place is peaceful and nice for those who love nature. In addition, Fabienne is very friendly and responsive in her exchanges. In short, I highly recommend it.

We had a lovely stay at the place. The cottage is quiet, with a beautiful view. Alain and Dédée are very welcoming and gave us good tips for visiting the surroundings. We enjoyed our stay in Aveyron.

We loved our stay at Gerard’s place. It was very peaceful and quiet. Gerard was a total superstar when we got lost and had a puncture at the same time. He came to rescue us in the village and then insisted on taking me to get the tyre repaired the next day on a French public holiday. He then helped to provide tools to change the wheel on the car. This was so helpful and way above expectations. I am sorry we took so much of Gerard’s time but he was so nice to us and we were able to have a great time at the old stable despite our car problems. I would recommend using the directions Gerard provides on the messages rather than the default directions on the Airbnb app (which was our mistake). We had a wonderful meal at the Auberge du Cerf restaurant about 5-10 minutes drive away.

A very well appointed and equipped cottage, charming, the welcome is super smiling, really perfect for a stop on the family holiday route, in our case. Thanks for everything Agnes:)

Great cottage, we had a lovely time there! Chloe and Jeremy were very accommodating, the small vehicles on loan to our children made all the difference and the caring presence of their dog delighted them. Noise level, visualize that there is no door between the bottom and top floor, so for a large family know that we really all live together;) In short, we loved the atmosphere, we recommend, a real moment of disconnection with everyday life <3

A very nice cottage, quiet, extremely well-equipped, very clean. The owners Mickael and Naoya (and Fergus;-) ) are adorable and very welcoming. We had a great time with kids and dogs.

The gite was very comfortable & bijou. Catherine had made a cake for our arrival which was very welcoming. The breakfast was a very pleasant extra. Catherine was a good host and told us of the food van in the village square that evening for a take away which saved a drive to Challons! The bedroom would challenge someone who is tall ( we are average height and had to mind our heads but not a deal breaker ) A good place to discover a quiet part of the Loire.

Fiona and Nadine warmly welcomed us in their beautiful stay. They really created a very nice place to relax and unwind. It is clear that these 2 people are genuinely interested in their guests. A nice breakfast was provided every morning. And if you have any questions about activities to do in the area, they always have an answer ready. We will definitely recommend this place!

2 night stay in the best possible conditions! Dennis is a particularly welcoming and attentive host. The Bulle cottage is cozy, lovely and very well-equipped. Dennis anticipated every need. Bravo for the very good taste decoration! The environment is peaceful, very pretty little village and beautiful countryside. Unfortunately the weather was rainy during our stay but the cottage is so nice that staying inside near the wood stove was a real pleasure! Thank you Dennis for your sympathy and attention to detail. We'll be back!

Kayleigh is a super nice woman, we had a great time for several days! A pleasure to enjoy the heat of the fire when returning with great scenery, comfortable bedding... nothing to say it was a great stay ☺️

Annick and Patrick received us very well. We had a wonderful stay at their cottage. Our kids loved to pedal with the little tractor and they enjoyed the beautiful exterior. We were able to do many excursions in the area.

We had the most wonderful week with Debbie and Mike. They are so warm and kind and made our week in France so memorable - we didn’t want to leave. The house, gardens and pool are beautiful, even nicer in real life vs the photos. Debbie and Mike have thought of everything in each area - the house, outdoor eating/lounging area, by the pool - it is exceptionally equipped. Everything is spotlessly clean from the bathrooms to kitchen cupboards. Thank you Debbie and Mike for such an amazing holiday xx

Very good stay, the rental is spacious and nicely arranged. The gardens are very beaus too. Ping pong table, foosball, barbecue, everything is there! We feel very good at your place, Sarah and Harriet Thank you!

we enjoyed staying in this converted barn - newly renovated to a high standard and very nicely presented with some thoughtful touches like bathroom products. Christophe was very helpful, responsive and friendly. Many thanks for a pleasant stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Marc’s place, the home and grounds are beautiful with plenty to do to relax; swim, sunbathe, table tennis, pool! The teens loved it! Great area too with famous chateaux and many cities nearby. Well equipped kitchen and outdoor BBQ and well maintained bedroom and living spaces Mark was a wonderful host, couldn’t do enough for us. We will definitely visit again, it’s become a family favourite.

Beautiful house at the gates of Chambery. Very close to the highway exit but in a very green and quiet area. Beautiful outdoor spaces and a hot tub already warm upon our arrival. Lots of kitchen accessories and games for entertainment. Very proactive, responsive and friendly host. In short, everything was perfect :)

A lovely, comfortable, spacious house for our party of 9. Loved the fire and the living space. The bedrooms were beautiful and comfortable and the four bathrooms were great! The kitchen was very well equipped and all the amenities listed were present. Check in was great, we were shown around the house and everything was explained well.

We highly recommend La Grange! It is a wonderful property that is charming! You would never know that it is a converted barn. It is very well appointed and clean. It's location is perfect and is walkable to the boulangerie and casino. Meursault is a quaint little village and we loved exploring the wineries in the area and beyond. Steve & Jill were great hosts and very responsive to our questions. We can't wait to go back!

Super welcome from Anne, Nicolas, Lilou, Paul, the cows, calves, pony, donkey, goats, sheep and affectionate cats who follow you like little dogs; a TOP stay for us as well as our two little girls who want to go back; a very informative farm visit; comfortable and impeccably clean accommodation; many activities to do in the area. We met lovely people. A stay to be repeated... I recommend it 1000%.
