Monthly Rentals in Fordyce

Just home after our first visit to John & Rich's place....and it definitely won't be the last! Very clean and well-appointed cottage, with everything you need for a peaceful and relaxing stay. John & Rich both made us feel very welcome, yet weren't at all intrusive. Such a dog-friendly place with a wonderful enclosed garden...and 2 very friendly Coonie pigs! Lovely welcoming touches inside...wine, coffee, shortbread, juice & milk...as well as full range of bathroom toiletries should you forget anything. Would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a peaceful stay in a lovely rural location, yet only a few minutes' drive from the Moray coast and its picturesque fishing villages. We’d stayed at the same property before so we knew exactly what to expect. A real home from (without all the clutter of home). Lots of thoughtful extras provided, and notes to explain things about the house. Once we got the heating on, we had a very comfortable, peaceful week. Perfect location for the friend we were there to visit. Easy walking distance to shops, eating places and the harbour. Short drive to Portsoy for the best ever ice cream. We even got some amazing photos of the Northern Lights. Hope to be back next year. Thank you.

Great place to stay. Loved the sauna. Apartment was well equipped. With attached conservatory for sitting and eating. Our hosts kindly provided milk bread and cereal and other bits and pieces. Bathroom was well equipped good shower. Comfortable bed and a peaceful setting. Will definitely Use again Thanks

This was a perfect spot for us to explore the area. The house is very well equipped, quiet, full of character and amazing views. Heidi provided lots of useful information prior to arriving, which helped us to plan our trips and we will certainly look to return in the future.
