Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Forbach

Unfortunately, the weather was only good on the last day. The swimming pool was fine. The house is divided into two parts, one of which is occupied by the hostess. However, only we were allowed to use the bathroom. The location is rather rural (in a village), and there are few leisure opportunities nearby.

Myself and my wife traveled from the uk to Christian’s property in rexingen in may 2025 , self check in was easy with a lock box containing the key to the property, Christian was always on hand to answer any questions I had. The home was spotlessly clean and as described in the listing , We felt at home straight away , Everything you need for a stay is provided , Towels , iron , washing machine , tumble dryer bed linen etc etc , It was like home from home , The area is quiet and peaceful because the property is set in a quiet location , most Black Forest attractions are a hours drive or you can take a 5 minutes walk from the property and you are within the forest with various nature walks of different lengths to choose from all starting from the property if you choose not to drive , We had a lovely evening meal in Horb at morgenland but would recommend you book in advance , A lovely weeks stay we had here and would recommend this accommodation,

We felt very comfortable here and would come back at any time. 😊 The place was very clean and tidy, there were many excursion destinations nearby and Tamara was always quickly available and helpful 👍🏽

Very nice location, well equipped, also easily accessible by train, overall it was a wonderful stay and we were completely satisfied! We were greeted with a delicious apple pie

The extended weekend in Carola's place was simply great. Starting with the communication, uncomplicated check-in, the location of the accommodation invites you to all kinds of outdoor activities (hiking, mountain biking, swimming in the nearby lake and certainly more is possible) and last but not least the accommodation as such - everything corresponded to the pictures, great architecture and a lot of inspiration for your own home. A real recommendation to have a nice time. We will be back! :)

Accommodation was to our complete satisfaction. The walk-through bathrooms took some getting used to, but in itself a great cottage for a retreat.

It was a very nice apartment, everything was very clean and the place looked spotless. The apartment was included with everything like washing pods and other things. We did not miss a single thing. We have had a warm welcome and the communication was easy.

Cozy accommodation in the middle of the Black Forest National Park with numerous opportunities to explore the area on foot. Those who like the peace and seclusion will like it here. Shopping is a bit far away, but you are aware of this at the time of booking, so there is no reason for a points deduction here. In addition, only one restaurant in the immediate vicinity, but it is always worth a visit. The accommodation is equipped with everything you could wish for as a holiday guest – a small sofa instead of the convenient bean bags would be desirable, the bathroom is a bit cramped, but you feel completely comfortable here. The host is extremely attentive and knows how to make the stay as beautiful as possible. As a self-catering, you will find a well-equipped kitchen (bring coffee powder if you arrive on weekends or late), the bedrooms are spread out against the street, but thanks to good insulation you sleep excellent.

During our stay we had a wonderful time both at the property and in the outdoor area. The accommodation had a very nice, warm and personal touch that made you feel at home right away. The host was super helpful in recommending e-mountain bike rental options which we followed for exploring the Black Forest.

High-quality apartment in a quiet single-family home area, right next to Baden-Baden. Extremely well-stocked kitchen and bathroom. Very big smart TV, can watch streaming services. Parking right by the entrance.

We had a super nice week in this beautiful apartment. Doreen & Michael are very friendly, helpful hosts. The apartment is on the most beautiful walks. Sauna also very nice and bike rental was possible at a good price. Recommended!

Excellent vacation rental. The accommodation is perfect, the terrace as well as the bedding. Very quiet. No negative points to report. The environment is beautiful, possibility of beautiful walks in the vineyards starting on foot from the accommodation. Several shops with local products ready to go.

An impeccable ground floor apartment, it lacked nothing, very nice bathtub and extra large sofa, super comfortable! Functional kitchen, dishwasher and parking space right in front appreciated! Our hosts have always been very responsive, accommodation to be recommended 👌🏼

Good place and lovely helpful host! A tad outside the city (1 hr on foot, 15 mins by bus, 7-8 mins by car), but the neighborhood is nice and you can Even see the stars at night!

Beautiful holiday apartment! Everything was perfect from the start. Eunice is a fantastic host and we felt welcome even before arriving at the Pine Cone Loft as she provided us with all the relevant information well in advance. The apartment is pristine, luxurious and the views over the forest from the balcony and from the kitchen are breathtaking. The kitchen had everything you need including coffee and tea. Even the bathroom is equipped with shampoo, shower gel and lots of towels. Eunice was very patient with our rescue dog who was a bit nervous at first. Everything is very dog friendly, the dog house rules are easy to follow and there even was a water bowl and mat for our dog. The whole apartment was very clean and we felt immediately at home. The area is beautiful and quiet and right on the hiking trails. Baden-Baden very close and easy to reach within 10 minutes by car. Eunice has so many great tips about the area and is always there to help if you need anything. 100% recommend!

We loved our stay and would gladly come back. Great for kids: lots of games, big garden with football goal, slide. Spotlessly clean, confortable bed and sofa bed. Great communication with host. Quiet and private. Easy driving distance to other towns/restaurants/shopping. Access to bike trails.

What a lovely apartment! Thoroughly recommended.

We felt very lucky to stay in this historic home, which was bulit in 1817 and set in a quiet, peaceful street with other homes of similar vintage. The interior maintains the charm of yesteryear but offers all the modern comforts one could need. We really appreciated our hosts who were there when we needed but also privacy, so we felt completely at home. The easy 30 min cycle to and from Strasbourg each day, past farmland and along the canal was a great way to experience the area.

Very nice experience at Marie-Jo's. The accommodation is very comfortable, functional, peaceful and in a very nice environment. The hosts are attentive and make you feel at home. I highly recommend this listing! Would definitely stay again!

Nice spacious studio in the middle of the Black Forest. The studio is located on the ground floor of the hosts house, near the main road of Mitteltal, which was ideally located to start hikes and bike rides. With the Schwarzwald Plus card you can also use the bus for free to go to the start of hikes/activities in the region. Mitteltal has one very little supermarket and some bakeries and restaurants in walking distance (5-10 min). If you want some more options, Baiersbronn has some bigger supermarkets and more restaurants in 10 min by car. The sauna was a very nice addition on the rainy days. The bed was comfortable, the studio was very quiet and dark with the roller shutters down. The shower was also very nice. The host was very friendly and informative. We appreciated the parking spot in front of the house and the fact that we could park our racing bikes in the garage. We would recommend this studio for a peaceful trip to the Schwarzwald.
