This beach house is well set up for a beach vacation. It is close to the beach and walkable to many restaurants and coffee shops. Please be aware (we were not) that every Wednesday in Ocean Beach there is a market and a huge party on the streets with abundant drinking and pot smoking. That was not our scene and surprising to get stuck in the middle of it. Joshua has well supplied the home with every you need for a beach trip - wagon, chairs, surfboards, boogies boards and more. We appreciated the thoughtfulness of all these items. Also, note that there are no locks on any of the interior doors - neither bedroom or bathroom so privacy is a bit limited in the home. That being said, it fit our family well.

Absolutely loved my stay here! The place was spotless and had everything I needed—including a garage that fit my mid-size car perfectly, which was such a bonus. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to the beach and surrounded by amazing local food spots. Communication with the host was smooth and prompt, from check-in to check-out, and they were super helpful with any questions I had. Would definitely stay here again!

I loved this cottage, it’s location, and our experience. The exterior: private, behind a wooden fence steps away from the sidewalk, with the cutest succulent garden with some tasteful décor. The interior: meticulously curated vintage and retro-style pieces, always something to look at, I appreciate that it wasn’t an IKEA bulk order but a lot of love and care and personality. And it’s SO clean and doesn’t feel cluttered at all! I loved the round yellow bathroom tile, the kitchen sink, the leather chair and ottoman in the living room. So many gems all around. Katrina was a gem herself!!! My toddler got sick (yuck) in bed the first night, and K came to our rescue the next morning with new linens, completely kindhearted and understanding. Related- the free laundry was a godsend to have with a kid, and to simply not have to pack a ton! And the beach gear, stocked supplies in the cabinets, they thought of everything! ❤️

Jane and Ian’s place was awesome! Great space with well equipped kitchen and brand new appliances and cookware. The view from the 2nd floor porch-balcony was amazing since we could sit out with glass of wine and watch the sunsets. The king bed was very comfortable. The location was a short walking distance to La Jolla Cove and local amenities like restaurants and stores. Both hosts, plus their site manager, were super communicative and responsive. We will definitely book with this Host Team again!

Great place to stay, very clean and has everything you would need. We didn’t have a car so the bikes were great to have to get us around town. Everything is close and tons to do! We especially enjoyed the outdoor patio and fire pit!! Would definitely stay again!

Great spot if you have a car to traffic to/from the beaches. Was comfortable for me, my husband, baby, and our au pair, and probably would be a good fit for two couples or a family of 4 (one room was bunks). Amenities were ample, beds were large and comfy, clean. Some good food spots within walking distances, namely The Fish Shop and Kono’s sister restaurant (yummy burritos). Vons, Trader Joe’s, CVS all within walking distance for those looking to cook from home. Thanks for hosting us!

Cute beach cottage with a fantastic location! Just a couple blocks from the beach, but very quiet and no noise issues. We arrived on a Tuesday, and there happens to be a really nice farmers’ market that was just a half block from the house. Excellent communication from the host at every step of the way!

Many thanks to Renee for being such a great host! We were extremely happy with our stay. Everything was as described, the location was perfect, and the house was quiet, clean and comfortable. Only thing to note is that the driveway is very steep! If you plan on parking on the street, make sure you are able to climb a short, sharp incline to access the home.

Susan was a wonderful host! She was kind and super helpful. The space was clean and the location was perfect our family. We spent our days walking to the beaches, eating at the pier, swimming in the pool, going to LegoLand, and exploring the Flower Fields. We look forward to coming back again!

This place worked well for us! However, if you are looking for beach access and/or ocean views - this is not the place. Since this place is located east of I-5, you are miles from the beach. And this place offers privacy, but absolutely no ocean views. It wasn't a deal-breaker for us but it may be for you.

This Airbnb was truly one of the best experiences I've ever had. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how impeccably clean and well-organized everything was. Our family of 6 had a wonderful stay at Cyndi's property! The home was exactly as described, with plenty of space for everyone. The pool/spa and every room in the house was immaculately clean and in great condition. We had everything we needed, and Cyndi was very responsive if we had a question. The location is also great--close to lots of shops and restaurants and tourist locations. We look forward to staying at this or another one of Cyndi's properties soon! Thank you for a great week in Carlsbad!

Extremely responsive management. Proactively reached out to check us in early. Charming house right on the water, you can dip in the ocean during low tide (or high tide if you're adventurous!). Enjoyed every bit of our stay and would definitely go again. 10/10 would recommend

We stayed for two nights at this beautiful house with an amazing view. Located on a hill, we were able to relax on the balcony while enjoying the sunrise, sunset, and stunning evening skies. The indoor jacuzzi with its large windows was also excellent. Everything was clean, the kitchen was well-equipped, and communication with the host was quick and smooth. There’s also a peaceful and beautiful hiking trail behind the house. We would love to stay here again.

I booked this home for my stay during my daughters sorority mom’s weekend and it fit perfectly for our needs. I shared the home with one other mom and we were quite comfortable. We had a few other moms over for a happy hour and the front patio worked out perfectly for that. It was a very nice set up. We were in and out a lot attending events but each time we returned we were able to find parking spots right out front.

This home exceeded all my expectations! Everything was perfect for a group - from plentiful towels and outlets, lots of seating, VERY clean and super cozy! - This house is so beautifully decorated, and the backyard is amazing! Just the perfect place to be with family and friends. Sebastien provided very detailed and clear instructions, was very responsive and friendly. Very nice place. Clean, comfortable, quiet, and relaxing to be in. Tastefully decorated and really allowed one to settle right in to the beach vibe. Conveniently located steps away from the beach itself, or a 2 min walk to the bay, and near many great places to grab coffee, lunch, and cocktails, and of course all the fun and exciting things to do outdoors. Definitely recommend Cheyann's place when visiting San Diego!
