House vacation rentals in Fléac

This is a beautiful place to stay on the banks of the Charente which we enjoyed from the canoe but just loved seeing it flowing along edging the grounds. We came on the train which is a very easy journey from Paris to Jarnac. It is then less than an hours walk along the cycle path or quicker along the very quiet road. The market in Jarnac is excellent and there’s some nice cafes and bars. In Bourg Charente itself the bar tabac sells morning baguette and croissants, especially good to put an order in the day before. Also in the village La Ribaudiere restaurant was absolutely amazing and an experience not to be missed. So this is a great place to stay if you are car free like us but bicycles really help too especially with direct access to the 400 km path La Flow Velo. Lots of fun! Thanks to Andrea and Dominic.

We had a wonderful weekend. We fell in love with this living space where we disconnected from the arrival The house is beautiful, very well thought out.❤️ I'm so glad I spent my birthday there and with sunshine at will. Wow!! Marie's house was beautiful and in lovely, tranquil surroundings. We were a party of 5 and the house and amenities were perfect. It was great to have a swimming pool to cool off from the summer sun. We booked for a week at a late stage but from the first enquiry to Marie and throughout our time there Marie was always very quick and helpful to respond. We absolutely recommend this wonderful house and host, but hopefully there will still be the opportunity for us to book again when we are in the Charente.

We stayed at Elodie’s house for four months and it was a great stay! The home is beautiful and clean. Location is great for peace and quiet while being close to Cognac. Last but not least, the hosts Elodie and Greg are welcoming and helpful with anything you might need. Will definitely stay again!

This is a very nice and well equipped house in a wonderful location. Filip is a very good host who communiates very effectively. We had a wonderful family gathering with 10 people including 4 kids under 5.

Jérôme was very welcoming and guided us as soon as we arrived in Angouleme..(and even before with tips for restaurants!☺️) the house is ideally located, with 2 bus lines nearby...in a quiet location... perfect stay!

The accommodation is very well-equipped, clean and pleasant, the children enjoyed the small Easter decorations and the slide in the garden, we will gladly come back 😊

House perfect for 2 people. To be integrated: a staircase to serve the mezzanine which can be a little rough but perfectly secure.

Amazing accommodation. Very nice house. Just like the photos. We found parking for the car right where it was indicated to us. Too bad we were just passing through on a long trip. Since it is interesting to stay in this house to visit everything nearby, including Cognac. We will definitely be back.

Accommodation as described, but furniture is a bit from another era, the accommodation is suitable for a family of 4 without problem, quiet.

Isabelle's place is perfect; spacious, very clean at a walking distance from La Rochefoucauld town center, good wifi, easy to check in and check out, easy communication, all perfect! Many thanks Isabelle; we will come back next time we are in the region

Very nice quiet and very well-located village center house for visiting the southeast of the Charente

I recommend 100%, listing matching photos and descriptions. Very clean. Lovely spacious house where everyone has their own space. Spa at the top for relaxing moments in a pleasant setting. Florian is very welcoming, accommodating, responsive and attentive to our needs.

We had booked Hermine's house for 9 nights, were very, very friendly received by the co-host Mélanie, who looked after us very nicely in person or by phone during our entire stay with all questions. The house is very nice, cozy and tastefully decorated. The kitchen has everything you need. For us, the location was ideal because we like peace and seclusion. The surrounding villages are very small and tranquil, but you can shop nearby. We did some bike tours, the paths are well developed. We also enjoyed Angoulème very much. All in all a nice stay and perfect care! Merci beaucoup à Mélanie! Note: The stairs to the upper floor are beautiful but not suitable for people who are not good on their feet. You must not enter with shoes, it has no handrail and is very irregular and smooth. But that was no problem for us.

Very good stay at Daniel and Christine's, a very nice welcome with a little extra. Very quiet places for a relaxing vacation. Covered pool and Jacuzzi are great to enjoy in all weather. Large and very functional house, small fenced garden and large garden with several games. Really nice stay with everything you need for a good vacation. With the added bonus of good recommendations about the area and a little very nice history. ☺️
