Exceptional. A home from home feeling. Absolutely the place to recharge yourself. Put the fire on, get your book out, and enjoy the wonderful view of the sea and mountains. Go to bed, open the window, feel the fresh cold sea breeze flow through the room and fall asleep with the waves hitting the rocks. No need counting sheep, your gone ZZzzz. Communication was excellent, instructions clear and super warm upon arrival. Everything you could ask for in the home. We have stayed in many places, and many have left you wishing you had packed something! NOT HERE. The small details that make you feel you have chosen the right home are important. I had my reservations over jacuzzi, but this one was perfect. Super-hot with great sea view of the mountains. Getting here was relaxed, the views are spectacular, and the roads are cleared. Geir’s place is in a wonderful location. Peaceful and set in nature beside a lake. Communication went well and nothing was a problem. We stayed in winter. It was warm and comfortable. This is a perfect place to view the Northern Lights which we saw and just relax.

What a great and peaceful place to be! We could only stay for a single night, but we are sure to be back. Nestled in a cozy little town close to Nordkapp, it was a great place to call home for the three of us. The apartment is clean, newly renovated and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Communication with the hosts was effortless.

The house exceeded our expectations! It was spacious, gorgeous, beautiful and tidy. The blackout curtains ensured a good night's sleep in the sleepless night and there were no sounds of birds living nearby. The area was very peaceful and the view of the ocean could have been gazed at endlessly. We really enjoyed our stay in this magnificent house and the ruggedness of the Varang Peninsula.

Host was responsive and friendly. Place was lovely and homely. We could see that the host put alot of effort in setting up the place for us. Excellent stay, wish we could have stayed longer.

Very nice apartment, everything is available that is needed for a stay. Svita had prepared everything perfectly, with her instructions arrival and check-in was very easy. Apartment is a 10-minute walk from the center. Glad to come back!

A "thought of everything" apartment in the basement of the family home. Very self contained with access to a washing machine. We had 3 nights and it was perfect for our needs. Plenty of space and a short walk to a supermarket and pizza takeaway / restaurant. We managed Nord Kapp and back in a day and were then ideally positioned to head south. A short walk and you get fantastic views over the water. Thanks so much for letting us stay.

In the amazing scenery, a wonderful, cozy and homely apartment for a couple and two dogs. Everything was spotless and the dock in our own use was absolutely amazing!

Cozy apartment with a beautiful location right next to a national park where you can go on great hikes. Rita is very nice and easy to communicate with. She also has eight huskies that we got to meet - a real bonus! Recommended!

Nice really quiet apartment in the basement of the house, the owner lives upstairs. Everything necessary was found in the apartment, it was tidy, but it needed a little fixing. The shower was pretty small, but it did the job. The owner was really nice and friendly, helped when needed, but was not intrusive. The house overlooks the sea, you could walk on the beach and bird-watch. There were a lot of eagles. Binoculars are a good idea to bring! Very dog-friendly place, the owner loved dogs. There is also nature behind the house, where you can walk with your dog. Lots of sheep. It was wonderful to wake up in the morning when the sheep lifted their heads from the hay. Really cute.

Large, newly built apartment, with delicate interior and all you need for a stay. Short walk to the grocery/convenience store for your necessities. One hour from Alta and Hammerfest. Lovely scenery and perfect for those who want to see reindeer.

I had a great stay here! The place was small but very clean and had everything I needed. It was functional and perfect for a short stay. Communication with the host was smooth and prompt. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a simple, comfortable spot.

Cosy AirBnB very close to the centre of town. Had everything we needed in the flat. We would definitely stay there again if we returned to Kirkenes.

We were two men going fishing. We stayed in the apartment for almost three days. The apartment had everything we needed to thrive. Each of our bedrooms, great kitchen with necessary equipment and a delicate bathroom. In addition, there was a cozy living room with TV. We also had access to the internet router. Gunn has been a great host, responding to all inquiries very quickly. We are super happy with our stay. Couldn't have been better👍😃

A peaceful place in a peaceful area. Great views from the windows. Small apartment, but not cramped. Everything is neat, excellent bed and bedding! A small minus for the lack of a coffee maker. Parking by reversing from the road into the yard was a little strange for a Finn, but easy to do. Friendly host family! I would come here again if the trip brought me to Alta.

Impeccable accommodation, close to the airport but no noise and close to all shops. the host is welcoming, the accommodation is clean and tidy. the instructions are very clear. Nothing to say, I recommend it to anyone who has to spend a few days in Alta.
