Monthly Rentals in Field Broughton

A wonderful stay in a beautiful home. We found the property fairly straightforward to find, spotting the two distinctive trees from the photos. Owners Gail and Mike were very friendly. They took particular attention in accommodating our young children, with a bag of toys, picnic blanket, feeding lambs. We played in the gardens and Mike took it upon himself to mow the lawns for the kids, even though they seemed fine! Appreciated all the care and attention and sticky toffee pudding! Fireplace being the highlight of our evenings with plenty of firewood. The area was picturesque and nights were starlit. The rooms were set up mindfully, our favourite was the dining room, perfect for crafts. We found the shelf with the abundance of leaflets for exploring Lake District very impressive; resembling a mini tourist office, with Gail also recommending some great spots. Conveniently close to Haverwaithe train St and Cartmel Alpacas Farm. We would love to stay at Granary Cottage again. Thank you.

Superb location and the perfect base for exploring the area. I only wish I had more time to enjoy Cate’s place and its beautiful surroundings—it all looked absolutely stunning. I had a quiet coffee outside one morning before heading home, and it was incredibly peaceful. Inside, everything was just as expected and fully equipped. Cate also left me some of the best brownies and cookies I’ve ever eaten—such a thoughtful touch!

Fantastic location, for a relaxing peaceful getaway. The Stables was beautiful, the log burner and velux window for star gazing really adds to the homely cosy atmosphere. Ali was very welcoming and helpful telling us of all the local amenities to explore in Cartmel and the surrounding area. It was a fantastic break and we look forward to returning again soon. It is highly recommended.

Felt so at peace staying here. The home is very quaint, but cozy. The street and surrounding areas was so nice to walk around and it was such a perfect location to get around the lakes.
