Monthly Rentals in Fenny Compton

This was our second visit to this charming and totally unique cottage and we again took full advantage of the lovely walks around. The surrounding grounds were blessed with many wild spring flowers and we spent a considerable time just sitting on the bench enjoying the peaceful area and sound of the woodpecker etc.. Visits to Oxford (the Ashmolean) and Stratford-upon-Avon (quieter in the mornings) and visits to the surrounding villages added to our enjoyment.

The cottage is lovely and in a perfect spot if you want some peace and quiet. The village of Wormleighton is very picturesque (especially in the Spring!) and there are a couple of good walks from the cottage. The cottage facilities were great and the welcome basket was generous and well appreciated. Communication with the host was excellent.

Highly recommend booking this if your looking for 2/3nights quiet getaway from the busy reality life and wind down with nature views surrounding you, was amazing!

We really enjoyed our stay - the flat was spotless, tastefully furnished and in a great location. The check‑in process was smooth and the host was responsive throughout. My only small gripe was the rigidity around check‑in and check‑out times. Check‑in wasn’t available until 4 PM, and check‑out strictly at 10 AM (with a hefty £35 fee to arrive earlier). Our cleaner arrived at 10:15 AM, which felt a little tight. If the host could offer even a 30‑minute buffer on either end, it would make arrivals and departures much more relaxed. Overall, highly recommended - just be aware of the fixed times!
