Monthly Rentals in Farley

5 minute drive Alton towers which we went to on one of our days , on the second day we got an uber in to town and had a really lovely lunch at the bulls head - recommend the kebabs. Our car unfortunately broke down whilst here and Jessica and her husband were really helpful! Amazing cabin, amazing hosts! Would definitely stay again.

Amazing location for Alton Towers and cottage was great space and worked well for the family. Only niggle was a noise monitor that pinged us saying we were being too loud - we were a family group with a baby all in bed by 10:30pm and spent the evening playing board games- so hardly rock n roll and it was 8pm on a Saturday when we started getting alerts whilst playing board games - felt a bit like we couldn’t speak or laugh - maybe lower tolerance of the monitor or just do it later ?

We had a wonderful time with our family and dog at The Barn. David and Tess were super friendly and provided some great local recommendations. The location is stunning and a short walk or drive to great days out. The place was very clean and cosy and the kids loved to watch the cows out of the window. We hope to return soon and highly recommend!

Felicity answered questions before I even asked them (quite a skill)! Cottage was beautifully presented, very peaceful despite being only a 3 minute stroll to centre of village which includes two pubs & a convenience store (open early till late), & less than 10 minute drive to Alton Towers car park. Lovely views from rear terrace overlooking valley…I would happily live here!
