Pistoia è a pochi minuti, Firenze e Lucca possono essere raggiunte in circa mezz'ora con l'auto oppure con il treno, la costa tra Viareggio, Pisa e Livorno in meno di un'ora mentre le vette dell'Abetone in quaranta minuti.
