Alexandra Cottage is a secret hideaway in the heart of the ancient market town of Penryn, offering a luxury retreat in one of Cornwall's most beautiful and bustling coastal areas. The stone-built, slate-roofed cottage has a king-sized bed, an ensuite shower room, and a sumptuously stylish open-plan sitting room/kitchen with a woodburner for cosy nights in after bracing walks on the coastal path. A sunny terrace provides the perfect spot for alfresco dinning with a gas BBQ and wood fired pizza oven. Only 5 minutes drive is the harbour town of Falmouth, with its independent shops and art galleries, beaches and the world-famous National Maritime Museum. It's also within easy reach of the Helford River and its glorious sailing waters, hidden coves and fabulous walking routes. The cottage is tucked in the corner of a large walled garden, across the lawn from a beautiful double-fronted stone house. Alexandra Cottage has its own parking and separate entrance.

We are on the unspoilt Roseland Peninsula, surrounded by fields and with sea views across to dramatic Dodman Point, the highest headland on the south coast of Cornwall. Ideal for walkers, we are less than a mile from the South West Coast Path. Although very rural, we are within walking distance of two pubs, the New Inn at Veryan and The Ship at Portloe. The village shop & post office are at Veryan for your added convenience.

A beautiful captains cottage, of granite stone built, 1820 ideal for 2 adults 2 teenagers, a self contained flat, free street parking, private entrance, kitchenette, wood stove fire (free wood provided), beautiful original flagstone flooring, exposed ceiling beams and a stunning walk in shower. As soon as you walk in time seems to stop, it will be difficult to leave. There is a magic here, perhaps it's the colors emanating from the natural walls & floor. If you haven’t visited Flushing before you are in for a treat,our cottage is set right in the heart of this Idilic cornish costal village. The village has 2 fantastic pubs, a cafe all boasting spectacular views across the River Fal, a very well stocked local shop selling fresh local produce, a passenger ferry from Flushing to Falmouth a great service for tourists wanting to get around without using a car. The village also has a fantastic dog friendly beach, beautiful coastal walks & a kids Park.

Upper Stables is a romantic hideaway nestled in the private countryside of Carclew on the outskirts of Mylor, in easy reach of creeks, beaches and Falmouth. The stables have been lovingly refurbished and boast wood fired hot tub, beams, woodburner, luxurious bathroom - roll top bath and rain shower and a large well equipped kitchen. There are many lovely spots to enjoy; meadow for sundowners, private 1 mile walk - perfect for dog owners, fenced garden with barbecue and fire pit for star gazing.

Set in the heart of Falmouth, 'the inlet' is a spacious self-catering apartment for 2 persons on the ground floor of my Victorian town house, offering harbour views over the historic sailing port of Falmouth. With its location & views it makes a great escape and is equipped for guests seeking a stylish getaway. Free on-road parking which isn't guarranteed directly outside the premises. As a listed property it’s quirks make it unable to store bikes/wheelchairs owing to fire regulation access.

Set within an apple orchard on the grounds of Eathorne Manor, the Applehay is the ideal spot for a getaway. Whether a romantic escape, or a writing retreat, the shepherd's hut offers a back to nature experience, with splash of luxury. Surrounded by rose strewn apple trees and wild grasses and the shepherd's hut has all you need to escape from the humdrum. A short drive from the buzz of Falmouth, or the tranquil beaches of the Helford river, the Applehay is the ideal base for exploration.

My cottage is very special. It's full of character: beams, slate and wood floors, comfortable furniture, it has a real cosy cottage feel. It's a calm oasis in the hub of Falmouth. Yet walk to the beaches and all the delights of this fun seaside town. There are Festivals here all through the year. The Oyster Festival in October. River Fal Walking Festival, Cider and Folk Festival (May) Beer Festival (Autumn), Craft fairs, race sailing weekends in August and the famous Sea Shanty Festival.
