Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Falmouth

We had a truly wonderful experience staying at Stonelands. Christine was incredibly generous and kind—she upgraded our booking to an entire house at no extra charge, which was such a lovely surprise. After spending a few days in hotel rooms, staying in this cosy house felt like a breath of fresh air. It was spacious, comfortable, and made us feel completely at home. Each evening, our host thoughtfully set the breakfast table, and in the morning we enjoyed a delicious, homemade breakfast that made our days start on such a positive note. She also gave us fantastic recommendations for local cafés, restaurants, and tourist spots, which really helped us make the most of our stay. This stay was one of the highlights of our trip, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming, and home-like experience.

Treen Farm was the perfect base for a glorious few days exploring West Cornwall. Paula and Chris (+ hens, cats, dogs, cows) were friendly and attentive hosts. Would not hesitate to recommend a stay here!

We had a wonderful stay at John and Di's little cottage. Charming place, less than a mile from Port Isaac. We didn't have a car, but it was an easy walk into town. Having a car might have been a good idea. John was very kind to give us a ride into town sometimes and he came to pick us up twice. He also drove us to Bodmin to catch a train when it was time to go. His charge for that was much less than a taxi. The best thing about this stay was John and Di's connection to the town. They had lots of stories to tell about Port Isaac and Doc Martin and so on. Really delightful people. And Di made us probably the best breakfasts we had on the whole trip! Not too many BnB's actually offer breakfast anymore, so this was a big big plus.

The Old Vicarage is a gorgeous special place. We were warmly welcomed and Dianne gave us many clear pieces of advise. We loved the decoration and mood, espacially The entrante greenhouse and the self-service-honesty bar. The room was very confortable espacially the bed sheets. The neighbourhood is vers peaceful, we met a couple of grey squirrels. In a 15min walk it is also possible to reach the Porthmeor Beach and it's Cafe, which serves delicous seafood. We would recommand the place to and traveller visiting St-Ives. I almost forgot to tell about the breakfast which deserves it's various medals/prices ☺️

Just a mile off the coastal path at Lands End. Easy to get to. Beautiful room and a really lovely choice for breakfast. Very friendly welcome and information about places to buy food the next day.

Charlotte‘s Airbnb was the best we ever experienced. She and John gave us a very heartly welcome so that we felt at home from the first moment. The room in her amazing house is bright and even lager than on the photos. Everything is spotless clean with a super comfy bed. The house is situated in a calm area just a few minutes away from High Street with pubs, cafés and museum and a super market nearby Helston is a good starting point to discover South Cornwall and Charlotte helped us a lot with recommandations. If possible we would give her 6 stars plus one extra for the adorable dogs. We will definitly come back!

Carol and Richard offered us a warm welcome and lovely homely stay. A traditional BnB in a lovely little town. Wonderful cooked breakfast each morning and donkey rides for the kids! We were lucky to stay whilst the cider farm next door had a little get together with a live band.

Marvellous place to stay - quiet and secluded but with a great pub less than 5 minutes walk. Well worth the charge

What an incredible stay!! The room, the house, the location - but most importantly the amazing hosts, Ally and Rowan! The green room was lovely and clean and a fabulous stay where I could relax ahead of or after a day at the beach (only a short walk to Carbis Bay)!! The hosts are just the best, so welcoming and friendly - they are the definition of super hosts ⭐️

Jane was very accommodating of all of our needs and had a really nice time at her and Peter’s bnb. Lovely chats at breakfast too!

The Views of St Michaels Mount attracted me, and the view across the valley are nice. Parking is easy and it is on the edge of town so it is quiet. The room is large and it was nice to have a kettle and microwave with some milk and tea/coffee bags and a few nibbles. Christopher is very friendly and informative. It was a nice place to stay.

Joy was a wonderful host, and we really liked her. She warmly welcomed us and showed us to our room, explaining all the amenities. She even provided breakfast items in the room and gave us helpful tips about nearby places to visit. Joy and her husband were both very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

This was a phenomenal experience. Our hosts, Helen and Julian were very attentive while giving us space to just relax. Breakfast was delicious and made to order. Our room overlooked the ocean and Tintagel waking us each morning to the most spectacular view. The bed was very comfortable and the amenities showed that special touch that Helen offers - hot tea and biscuits in the room and warm towels after bathing. I can’t wait to come back and enjoy their hospitality.

The house is located in a very quiet residential area. The room was very nice with large comfy bed, good tv and excellent ensuite and shower. Our room had a view to St.Ives and the sea in the distance. The breakfast is self service. We found it a convenient overnight stop having come off The Scillies ferry (Penzance) about 25mins away. Ate at Thai in Town (recommended). Michelle is a very pleasant host. Would stay again if touring the area.

Sara’s house was super cozy and beautiful. We had a very comfortable stay. Everything was very close to her place and her recommendations were super helpful too. She serves an amazing breakfast, a perfect way to start your day. I would definitely recommend her place and would love to stay with her again.

The accommodation was well located on the outskirts of Newquay. Traffic noise was apparent during the day but not an issue at night when sleeping . Breakfast items were provided for guests and a microwave , toaster kettle etc. The bathroom has obviously been recently refurbished to a good standard but access due to its location under the eves of a chalet bungalow property is not easy. If a guest had physical mobility issues or was taller there may be a problem. It was not a problem for me, just an observation. The property is located near bus stops so transport to Newquay and beyond is good. A Shell petrol station and Co op opposite is convenient. Electric car charging points are in Newquay and only a short walk away from the town centre. I wanted a place to stay as I was meeting friends over the weekend and so it suited me perfectly. Access to other locations was easy from this property. I can highly recommend this property if you wish to stay in Newquay and tour the area. Excel

Lovely stay at this very warm and welcoming Airbnb, the hosts were very friendly and took care of our needs including herbal tea on arrival, a nice comfy bed for the night and delicious coffee and cake for brunch before we left. The owners also have a cute little black cat and lovely gentle dog for any animal lovers. The Airbnb is part of a cocktail bar/cafe/restaurant which had great music and exceptional margaritas. Thank you for a relaxing stay and some lovely conversation :)

The property was lovely, great location and the room was clean, tidy, spacious and very comfortable. There was a nice collection of leaflets describing what to do and places to visit in the area and Nicki had also left some personal recommendations of local shops and restaurants. Nicki was very welcoming and I felt immediately at home! I would thoroughly recommend Nicki's property as an excellent place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay so much🥰. Paul helped us with interesting information about the area and history. We followed all this advises and had a great meal, an excellent “Englisch breakfast tea”, an interesting talk to Anny and got to known his friend/neighbour, who was also really nice. We really enjoyed our stay with Jill - she was very easy to talk to and we felt like we had a lot in common with her outlook. The room was lovely with a beautiful garden out back. We relished the rainy mornings listening to the songbirds and the rain pattering on the fauna whilst having a cup of tea. Breakfast was lovely, delicious crusty bread with tasty butter and jam and cereal. It’s also in a great spot, really close to Penmere station and not a long walk into Falmouth either. We’d happily stay again!

Had two amazing days in Charlestown at Susan's place! Everything was clean, Susan provided us will all essentials and more, was a very welcoming host. Would absolutely recommend!

Betty was very welcoming and helpful. The bedroom was large and airy. The bathroom clean and shower hot. Betty prepared wonderful breakfast including home made bread and jam, with berries from her garden.

Josianne's place was perfectly suited for my one night stop in Truro during my long bike ride. Great communication throughout, comfy bed, and nice to include breakfast as well. She was also really friendly and I was made to feel very at home. Highly recommend.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lesleys' place to anyone and would definitely stay there again if I was going to be in the area.
