Monthly Rentals in Faial

This is a fantastic apartment home. The place looks like in the pictures, with 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Very large kitchen with all appliances and a peaceful backyard with morning sunshine. A very peaceful place near the top of a mountain with easy access to beautiful hiking places just a short drive away. The home is in FAIAL which is the best area for hiking and lookouts places. Also the best value in all Madeira. This area is the best for nature lovers and away from the more expensive places in Funchal. I’m definitely returning in the future. By the way, Marco is a great host, very proactive, with a lot of suggestions on places to go.

Nice house surrounded by nature in a small village close to everything. João and Olivia are very welcoming and warned us of the closure of the hiking trails on a stormy day. The house is very nice with its covered terrace. We recommend it!

We absolutely loved staying at Carolyn's place and have nothing but glowing reviews. If we are ever lucky enough to visit Madeira again I hope we could stay here. The apartment was perfect for 2 people and was very comfortable and had everything we needed to stay for 4 weeks. We loved the beautiful porch/balcony area that was spacious and protected from the weather, and had the most amazing view of Porto da Cruz, the ocean and mountains, and even of the tail of Sao Lourenco. Even the rainy days were lovely when sitting on the porch protected from the storms. Carolyn and Mark are wonderful hosts and lovely people. We enjoyed getting to know them and were even treated to Carolyn's delicious homemade and still warm scones. This was the best airbnb experience we have ever had and highly recommend Carolyn's place. Lastly, the town of Porto da Cruz was perfect for us. It is a small town but with amazing natural beauty, nearby hikes, and very good restaurants too. Our favorite!
