Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Eyjafjörður

It is an amazing place to stay. Spacy, well equipped, located in a peaceful area. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bedrooms well separated, the American-style living room/kitchen is large and homely. Myrra. the family cat with whom we gladly shared the flat is a very friendly cat who has never bothered us. My sons liked to caress her. We can strongly recommend this apartment if you are looking for a well-located, spacious, cozy place to stay.

Very nice apartment, very clean, well equipped. You’ll find everything you need here. They even have a washing machine and dryer (shared with 2 other apartments) available. We had a very nice stay here and the owners have a very friendly dog who loved to be petted. The airbnb is located very conveniently, close to Húsavík, Akureyri, Mývatn and a lot of sightseeing places. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Wonderful stay at Ketill’s studio apartment. Would stay there again. The location is fantastic (right in the heart of downtown Akuryeri)

Location is very convenient. Had great views from apartment. Apartment was very clean and easy to find.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic. We loved the house and it eas wonderful having the hot tub each evening. The Hestasport team was fabulous at answerig questions on the rettir and helping arrange activities. In 4 days we went horseback riding, helped with a aheeo sirting, went whitewater rafting, explored the area, and ate at seceral fantadtic local restaurants. The hotel steos away from our house serves amazing food. Every part of this stay was wonderful. We highly recommend!

It was a very comfortable and relaxing spot to stay for a few days. The blackout curtains meant I slept really well and it was nice to have a full kitchen and living space.

The place was amazing, but when we arrived, the instructions showed a black lock box . The picture didn’t even match the two that were there , after trying several times with the code and texting Egill with no response we tried the white one and found the keys . And the whole week we were there no response or apology. Made me feel like he was just in it for the money and didn’t care . But again the place was nice . I would stay there again . Hope he reads this and changes his ways .. this probably won’t get posted because it makes him look bad .. but that’s the honest truth .

Such a pristine setting and view! This was such a quaint village with the kindest people. The weather was not as we expected and Thora brought us some lovely pastries and waffle ingredients plus a puzzle! This was far above and beyond! The view and setup of the house was beyond compare. It’s within 100ft of the local restaurant that has incredible food. Also within a few blocks of the fantastic geothermal bath house. Overall a wonderful stay. We will be back

Nos trois jours sont passés très vite.... Nous avions un pêcheur avec nous et jenny a été très sympa....pour lui montrer le spot...et lui a amené du matériel de peche.... Tout était super.....nous serions bien restés plus longtemps

Beautiful location - plus we were lucky enough to see northern lights right there! Place was as described, very comfortable, easy drive to downtown Akureyri. We had a wonderful time - thank you!

This was the perfect stop on our travels through Iceland. My kids loved the sheep, the stream and the grass to run in. The house was clean and included all amenities. Our group of 9 was comfortable, and we were pleasantly surprised to see that it was 1 1/2 bathrooms. There’s a half bath upstairs with the kitchen and two bedrooms. The washer and dryer were very helpful considering that this stop was a week into our trip. I would definitely stay here again.

Gehobene Ausstattung, Kleinigkeiten leider defekt. EineTerassentüre konnte man nicht öffnen war mit Hinweisschild markiert. Fernseher im Wohnzimmer funktioniert nicht. Ist uns aber nicht abgegangen. Im Badezimmer die Beleuchtung für den Spiegel ließ sich nicht anschalten. Wäre das alles ok gewesen, 5 Sterne, so nur 4 Sterne. Mit der Bewertung haben wir uns an der sehr gehobenen Ausstattung orientiert, da erwartet man dann, dass auch alles funktioniert. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort buchen. Gerade der Außenpool war wunderschön. Auf Fragen wurden innerhalb kurzer Zeit geantwortet.

Stayed here for (unfortunately only) one night with a group of six people. Lovely house, very clean and with everything you need. Enjoyed every second of it. Four people could sleep upstairs and two downstairs with two separate bathrooms. Two minutes walking distance from village centre, port and Hering museum. And a beautiful view over the city and the fjord. Big recommendation! :)

We adored Herdís’ little home in the heart of Siglufjörður! Photos are a great representation of the space. We were very comfortable there as a family of four for a few days. Everything was beautifully clean, the kitchen was very well equipped, beds were cozy, the grill was perfect for our dinner of lamb kebabs one night, blackout curtains in the bedrooms were excellent (definitely a necessity in June when the sun never sets!). Note that there aren't any blinds or curtains in the main rooms so it's a bit of a fishbowl at night, but no problem. We wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you for a wonderful home away from home!

Arnór's place is fantastic. Beautifully presented and really well equipped, including all the little touches that make you feel right at home straight away. Siglufjörður is a lovely town and the house is right amongst it all, with beautiful views and an easy walk to the harbour and restaurants etc. Arnór is a friendly and responsive host. Totally recommended!

If I could give more stars for location, I would. Definitely go the the public pool a short walk away. The people are so friendly and there are 2 awesome water slides (one is referred to by local kids as the toilet bowl, you'll see why in a fun way). This is a bottom floor apartment which seems very new. The apartment was quiet and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The bed was comfy. The Northern lights were amazing. Probably the best place we stayed in Iceland and a good value.

We really liked place and can recommend it. The hosts are very nice. The landscape around the farm is incredible.

This was by far the best place we stayed during our visit to Iceland. The unit was nicely equipped from the kitchen to the linens. Location was walkable to dinner and local shopping. We were even able to walk to the docks for our whale watching excursion. Our only driving was to the Forest Lagoon hot springs (highly recommend them, we went twice)

Nicely decorated apartment, spacious kitchen, free street parking right by the door, responsive host, good linen. Note that the washing machine and dryer are in a shared room with the apartment downstairs.

absolutely loved this amazing place. The condo is clean and quiet the island is beautiful. the hosts are so incredibly nice and accommodating. my only regret is not staying longer.

Schöne Wohnung, alles sehr sauber, bequeme Betten, ausreichend Platz, um auch mal nur auf dem Sofa zu hängend. Man ist schnell in der Stadt und es ist erstaunlicherweise sehr ruhig. Hätte ich bei einer so grossen Wohnanlage nicht gedacht.

It is very difficult to get someone to offer you their own house for your stay, and for one night only. Andri and his family do it. It is unbelievable. As amazing is their beautiful home. Magnificent, beautiful, comfortable and spotlessly clean. It doesn't deserve 5 points out of 5, it deserves 10 out of 5. Pity that on a trip around Iceland you have to rush to see the sites and can't enjoy the house for a few hours awake, having a drink on the beautiful terrace. Extraordinary. More than recommended.
