You can fish in local waters, play golf or disc golf spring/summer/fall, or go cross-country skiing or drive in the local alpine resort in the winter (ski in/ski out by enough nature snow). An hour away is Jotunheimen, with beautiful hikes. The Sognefjord is two hours away.
