Highly recommend! The house is very high located with great views. High mountains and valleys and near a lake to swim in. The place was very generous and had everything. We spent the most time on the sun deck/porch and enjoyed the view. Many beds and rooms and good plan. Will be happy to return!

We felt very comfortable in Kjell's cabin and were hoped to spend great white Christmas. :-) The cabin was very well equipped (e.g. kitchen, washing machine), super cozily furnished and really warm despite the cold outside temperatures. The sunrises and mountain view were very special. We were even lucky enough to see the northern lights right by the cabin! Kjell was always approachable and very helpful and friendly and also welcomed us at the cabin on the day of arrival and familiarized us with everything. We can definitely recommend the cabin and the host!

We had a wonderful family vacation with three generations in the cabin. The cabin is spacious and cozy and created the perfect setting for the holidays. Merete was a welcoming host who was able to answer all our questions. We will definitely be back next year!

A very spacious cabin in totally cozy wooden architecture, with breathtaking views over the surrounding fjells and in close proximity to an extensive diverse cross-country ski trail system. Wonderfully cozy bedrooms with absolutely high-quality beds. A very well equipped kitchen - right down to the roasting thermometer! Spacious living room where each of us five could find our favorite spot. Even a coffee and sunbathing on the south veranda was possible in the middle of February! And attending concerts at the Hemsing Festival was a great addition to our athletic and culinary vacation program. In addition, Jakob is a very friendly, obliging and generous host (e.g. we had enough firewood). You can't do better than that!

We stayed here for New Years. Bruce’s cabin is located right by the ski-lift and smaller slope; perfect location for families with children but also for going cross country skiing (terrain is not flat but climbing uphill is worth it). Bruce was very helpful with everything and the cabin had all the amenities we could ask for. Wood for fireplace can be bought in Bagn, should you run out. There is also a small Joker (grocery shop) about 5 min drive, in Reinli, in case you need it. All in all we were very happy with our stay here!

We had lovely days at Alma's cabin. Less than 30 min drive to Lenningen, where there was good skiing. Lovely with complete silence and views of the mountains, and nice nature in the immediate area. We would gladly came back!

Simply recommended! We felt right at home, everything is clean and tidy, Lill was reachable and approachable. But that wasn't necessary because everything just worked and nothing was missing! The equipment is like at home: dishwasher, stove, oven and other kitchen appliances such as: food processor, coffee machine, egg cooker, etc. Sat TV, an Apple TV, and other devices are available. The house was warm right away - THANK YOU! The area invites you to hike (in summer) and ski in winter. There are endless trails here - super prepared. If you just want to have peace and quiet, this is the place to be. I didn't see any restaurants nearby, the street to Lillehammer was closed - but the kitchen invites you to cook for yourself. Just enjoy the sun, quiet and the area - GREAT and THANK YOU!
