Old Wine Villa

Welcome to Paradise! Come stay at our cozy Villa with a splendid Atlantic ocean view by the infinity pool! This house was first built in 1932 and since then it has been know as "Casa do Vinho Velho", "The Old Wine House". My great-grand mother used to tell stories about the old man "Vinho Velho" and his passion for his wine and agriculture. The house has been updated but we have kept old features, like an old brick oven in the kitchen and 3 stone rocks for vine hanging in the living room!

Recently renovated, Refúgio do Tibéu is a private house located in a very quiet and sunny area. It is the ideal place for a vacation for two or even a family. It is close to numerous tourist attractions, including the fantastic beach of the municipality. Its location makes it easy to tour the island, whether by sea or mountains, as well as walking tours of the area and/or the island's "levadas" (irrigation channels). You can go in 12 minutes by car the levadas of 25 Fontes one of the most beautiful and lovely levadas sought by the walkers. It is also 10 minutes from the beach of Calheta where you can find all that orecisa for your stay, supermarkets, bars, restaurants, etc ...
