Calheta is a town on the west side of Madeira, famous for its  warm climate, exotic & native vegetation and also where some part of our experience will take place. The participants don't need to have a lot of experience in mountain biking/cross country. I'll normally design a programme for us mainly depending on your experience and skills. This experience is totally private and only with a maximum of 6 participants so you can enjoy every second and at your pace. During our mountain biking tour we'll encounter amazing places with breathtaking scenery, eucalyptus and indigenous forests where I'll explain and introduce you to my favourite and hidden places. We'll drive our bicycles through this amazing tracks between heather trees and century old laurel trees and sometimes we'll also ride along the famous water canals (The Levadas), exotic fruits and the fauna & flora from the region.  Trully a rich and unique experience providing total excitement and adventure right in the heart of the World Heritage of UNESCO. Other things to note If you're choosing a mountain bike tour, I'll advice to take a rucksack, fleece or a wind jacket and good shoes are essential because they will play an important role in all our activities.

Our experience will take place in one of the most emblematic places in Madeira, "Rabacal Valley". It's the longest and without any doubts one of the most amazing and spectacular canyons on the island, right in the heart of the native forest and also World Heritage Site of UNESCO. This is a unique tour where you definitely need a local guide and during our experience we'll visit multiple waterfall and small lakes along the way including the famous Levadas "Water Canals". I'll explain you everything about our Fauna & Flora, my favourite and hidden places and all the history, the dedication and hard work behing all this trails and canals. This experience will take place in a magical, ancient and fairytale kind of forest called "Fanal" at 1400m. This is without any doubts the best hidden treasure that this Island has to offer! Lets get away from crowded paths and explore this intact and true "Avatar" and also home of the original/endemic forest where we can find the mother of all "Laurel Trees" with thousands of years! This experience it's totally private and only with a maximum of 4/6 participants. We're going to introduce you to the world of SURF or Stand-Up Paddle Boarding, while exploring breathtaking scenery in the Madeira, Portugal. check my instagram -@orlandomendespereira SUP - Now, imagine disappearing into hidden grotto's with crystal clear, turquoise waters and paddling amongst awe-inspiring rock formations saturated by the early morning sun.Our SUP Tour is an experience you will not forget. we will capture the true awesomeness of the spectacular Madeira coastline and experience the unbeatable stillness of twilight before our action-packed day ensues. SURF - The surf lessons takes 2.5 hours, with all materials included and under the guidance of a teacher .we will surf on the best spots around the island according the weather and surf forecast. Normally we surf at the beaches from Seixal village, because is the best spots for learning and improving your surf. The surf lessons have a theoretical part, warming up and practical in the water. we can make some pictures with GoPro camera, and send to the students.
