we had a few friends over for drinks , everyone was impressed with the house . billy the " property manager " was very good , made us feel welcome and explained how everything worked . i'm hoping we can stay again later in the year .

Great place to stay, large rooms and very homely, really happy with the position of the house, a mini Tesco literally on the doorstep, so handy. Pleased that our dog was welcome. Well equipped kitchen, clean and tidy with a television in every bedroom, excellent, Would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely few days here. The cottage was more spacious than it looks in the listing and had everything we needed for a few days. The cottage is on a busy road but parking wasn't an issue and we didn't find road noise a problem but if you have a dog that reacts to passing people/traffic it probably isnt the place for you. the garden is enclosed and nicely laid out. Aurora was a helpful and responsive host. There are good dog friendly options for eating out in walking distance. Great Ayton is a great base for exploring the local area there are lots of options for walking nearby as well as not being far from the coast.
