Loved everything about our stay at this amazing house! Comfortable beds, awesome backyard with pool and hot tub, great location- walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, park and very close to lots of site seeing. Our family of 5 had a wonderful time - thank you for sharing your lovely house with us!

Vanessa's place is in a very very quiet neighborhood just steps from the bay. I am a SD native, I know the city very well. I actually lived in the area for many years. This place is totally worth it if your traveling with a family with kids. Plenty to do, plenty of space to sit and relax inside and outside. It has plenty of things to keep kids busy from books to toys very very nice touch. If available when we return definitely will be staying here. The short walk to watch the sunset in the ocean is worth every penny..

What a lovely home! We spent 5 days here with our family of 5 and it was absolutely wonderful. The home is spacious and open, very clean, and beautifully decorated. We loved the pool and watching airplanes take off and land in the distance. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. Would stay here again!

We had a great stay over spring break! Our group was 5 adults & 4 children, but we never felt cramped! The neighborhood is charming and felt safe, even to this small town family. We walked into the Kensington main street area most days - for coffee (Starbucks), acai bowls & organic groceries (Stehly Farms Market), pizza, burgers (kids eat free on Tuesday!), and ice cream (you MUST try the Ube & Toffee flavor at Stella Jeans)! :) The kids loved the pool/ hot tub, although it was a shame the pool guy never checked in over our weeklong stay. With 4 children in the pool every day, the water was cloudy by the time we left. I blame myself for not letting Zeina and Mo know, as they were responsive for all my other queries. The casita was a blessing for grandma and grandpa, who needed their quiet time. The only real complaint I heard from our group was that the house smells stale (like the charming old house it is) and the laundry/pingpong area smells of mildew. Opening doors helped!

Great place with a very central location, close to the airport and zoo. We really enjoyed our stay and the amenities offered at the home. Lacee was very responsive and accommodating.

Stay was great, the kids loves the pool. They had lots of stuff we could use to tale to the beach which was great. Lots of supplies, I have rented places that were super stingy with everything, but this place had more of everything, including things we werent expecting, but needed.

Jesus was a great and attentive host. He answers all questions in a timely manner, and was clear in his directions. The house is beautiful- THE BACKYARD!!! My group couldn’t get enough time out there, most amazing view. Great amount of beds, smaller hosting spaces but still they provide plenty of seating!

Perfect little bungalow for our stay. Comfortable space for our family of three. Loved the original details of the home like the built ins, picture ledges and window transoms. We had everything we needed for the weekend and were close to great restaurants and coffee shops! Lively neighborhood with residents out walking their dogs in the daytime and peaceful quiet in the evening.

Had a great stay! Everything was very clean looked exactly like the pictures. Jack was always responsive to my questions and any help I needed.

Mihn was a great host and very communicative before check-in and on check-out. The guest house was as described: clean, quiet, and convenient to many great local places. Would definitely recommend this place.

Rosa’s Cottage is so unique, interesting and homey. We love to stay here! Even though we don’t need all three bedrooms, it is a great option in case our grandchildren want to stay over or if one of our Northern California adult children want to visit. It is so convenient and rare to have the use of a second bathroom in smaller homes, a bonus in case of extra family members. The dining table can seat 6 people. Bathrooms are nice sized, clean and have been tastefully updated. The backyard is adorable and we would use it much more if we visited when the weather was warmer. We have our own off street parking space and walk right in the front door to a one level house, making getting luggage and groceries easy to carry in and out. What can I say about Rosa? She is one of the kindest sweetest people you will ever meet and really wants you to have a great stay. We have had a couple of unexpected issues to deal with and she was very accommodating, making our concerns non-issues. Thanks, Rosa!

Amazing airbnb with plenty to offer such as 4 beds as well as kitchenwares and toiletries! My friends and I felt right at home with this airbnb. Melissa was great at communicating too, which made the check in and check out processes much easier!

Really enjoyed this stay! Didn't know much about ocean beach beforehand so was pleasantly surprised! Lots of places very walkable from airbnb which was awesome. Also, having a parking spot ended up being so convenient. There is a lot of noise from the airplanes and I can be sensitive to light/noise but found myself being able to sleep soundly. I appreciated hosts being upfront about these things in listing so I could accurately choose this place. Would definitely stay again!

Anthony was a great host and was very responsive. The home is nice and comfy and perfect for small families especially if you have little ones. The location of the home is perfect. It’s within driving distance to San Diego’s popular spots such as Old Town, zoo, Belmont Park etc. We were able to walk over to Logan Ave. with our little one to check out the arts, small boutiques, and cafes. It was also very helpful to have a parking spot on the property since there’s hardly any parking on the street. My family and I enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

This home was beautiful! Plenty of space for the seven of us for our girls' trip. Helen was an excellent host. She was very responsive to any questions we had. The property was well-stocked with towels and linen, and had a washer and dryer in case you needed to do laundry. The backyard is beautiful. Extremely flexible check-in/check-out options. I would definitely stay again.

Randy’s place was fantastic. It was as described and depicted in photos. Randy was a great host. He was very accommodating and accessible. The place was comfortable and clean. The living space/kitchen/dining area was great for our group of 6 adults. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very comfortable and quiet. The location was amazing. One small block to the beach. The grocery store and coffee/bars are so close. We used the bikes, Prokadima and beach chairs. Such a great place for the price. Thank you Randy for sharing your place with us!

We booked Suan and Jessica's place for Easter weekend. We had planned a trip to the Flower Gardens and Legoland in Carlsbad, both of which were less than 20 minutes away from where we were staying. Not only was the place conveniently located, it offered us a spot to enjoy our family's company and dedicate our time to our grandaughter. We barbecued, watched movies, swam in swimming pool, did our own arts and crafts, etc. We had an overall amazing time at a reasonable price without the chaos and limitations of booking a hotel room. We would definitely book this place in the future if we are in the area.

We stayed at Marjorie and Dan’s house with a group of 8 that fit our two families well. The outdoor patio was great and our kids thoroughly enjoyed the orange tree. Marjorie and Dan communicated well. There was some street construction going on outside the house but the neighborhood remained quiet and peaceful at night. Had a great stay!

Jaime’s house exceeded our expectations. The location was stunning and the house was spacious and had everything we needed. We are a family of five, and it was nice to be able to spread out, relax and enjoy a space that felt like home. We did not have a car but found the location was fairly close to most San Diego attractions. It is a short walk down to Old Town which has lots of eateries and the transit station, where you can catch the trolley and buses. We used Uber too. Jaime provided lots of great ideas for places to go and was friendly, prompt and easy to communicate with.

Evan was a great host very friendly, helpful, and proactive. He regularly checked in to make sure everything was okay, which we really appreciated. The place was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The description of the apartment and parking was clear and accurate, making everything smooth and easy. We truly felt at home and would absolutely book this place again. A solid 5 out of 5!
