Monthly Rentals in Errigal

A lovely stay! Very warm and cosy, with all the essential amenities and more!

We stayed in this beautiful place, away from the crowds and overlooking Mount Errigal. The location is stunning — on clear days, you can see the sea and rolling hills. Caoimhe’s house opens onto peaceful bogland, and we went for walks there every day. It’s simply beautiful. The house is fully loaded. Just bring your clothes and food. The fireplace with two big couches was perfect after long days of hiking and exploring — some of our favourite moments. We also enjoyed chatting with Ian and their son, Luke. On the last day, Ian left us with a question that kept us thinking the whole way home. An added bonus: Loki, the friendly border collie, and three playful cats (the “Gucci gang”) are always around. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to unplug and just be.

What a beautiful spot! The communication from Don and Lorraine was great with lots of good recommendations for local restaurants and walks! The cottage itself did not disappoint! Some narrow roads to get down but well worth the drive! A lovely outdoor space with fireplace and the best part is the view of the sheep and lambs in the field directly next to the cottage! The kitchen has all you need and very spacious! The living room also very spacious however very cosy with a fireplace we utilised for the chilly evenings. Got to say the monopoly was very welcomed even though it caused some disagreements on our last night I front of the fire! The bedroom is very cosy with a comfortable mattress and pillows (additional blanket when it gets cold). Heating the place is very easy whether or not you do this with the heating or fireplace. All in all a very worth while visit! Couldn’t have asked for a better place for our first visit to Ireland.Thanks to both Don and Lorraine! We’ll be back!

Beautiful place in a lovely, quiet location. The cottage was perfect in every way and Seamus was very easy to communicate with. We will most certainly be booking again for future visits to the area.
