Family-friendly vacation rentals in Elyria

This was our third stay at Mark’s place! It’s become a family tradition for our trip to Halloweekends at Cedar Point! His place is perfectly located with a beautiful view of the lake, walkable restaurants downtown Sandusky, and a quick drive to the park. Check in and out are easy and smooth! It’s always super clean! We plan to stay again!

We loved staying here in this cozy home in peaceful fields. Catherine was so conscientious and communicative. There were nice additions like milk and eggs and snacks, too, that were nice touches. We’d definitely stay again. The only thing that I wish we would have known ahead of time was that the hot tub was drained for the winter. Thanks so much for the nice stay!

We stayed here for a girls trip with 7 people and there was plenty of room for all of us. Everything was in walking distance, lots of bars and restaurants. Great walking areas. Would stay here again!

we took a short 2 day trip to cedar point and Marks place was perfect! close distance to the park and the lake. We will back!

The location was GREAT! Right downtown, walking distance from most bars and stores! The space was what was shown, small but quaint and cozy. Great price! The only negative part of booking is the excessive communication with multiple emails and texts with a lot of instructions telling you to give phone numbers, emails, pictures of driver licenses and selfies! I think it was worth it for the price, but just know it’s a lot of communication and instructions and rules. The host is very kind though and wants to do all she can to make your stay a good one.

We had a wonderful stay at the "log cabin"!! The hot tub was a huge hit, we loved the big dining room table, and also appreciated the 2nd living space in the basement. If you're ever looking to stay in Hartville, this is a great home for large family gatherings.

We had a lovely stay at Nora's home! The house is exactly what we expected based on photos, description, and reviews from other guests. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious, comfortable, well lit, and lots of good closet space! There were plenty of linens, and the bathroom amenities are great. The layout of the home is great for two or three adult couples with a full bathroom both upstairs and downstairs. The driveway parking is so convenient, and there was usually street parking available very close to the house. The driveway is a bit narrow for larger vehicles, but we were easily able to pull in and out and let others into the car. We found the neighborhood very easily walkable, with lots of good restaurants, shopping, and a big library nearby.

I wish I could give more than a 5 star review! if ever a place earned a 1,000 stars, this is it! It's the perfect balance of luxury and comfort. The decor is charming. the hosts were fabulous and attentive. The kitchen has every appliance and utensil you could desire. The view is great and there is so much to do on the grounds. We enjoyed pickleball a walking around the lake. We spent a lovely evening around a campfire made from the amply stocked wood pile. No attention to detail was spared and everything was impeccably clean. I have stayed at Air Bnbs all over the country and this one tops them all! I know this is a place I will be returning to over and over again.

Beautiful Century Home in the country. Spacious and comfortable, with lots of charm. Bill is a great host, excellent communicator, and full of local information. The setting is beautiful, out in the country and a 10-15min drive to restaurants/grocery stores. We look forward to returning in the summer and taking advantage of the pond, canoe, beach and fire pit. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare and serve dinner for a large group, and the dining room can handle a crowd. A lovely farmhouse in a beautiful setting.

Thanks very much to Brad for providing such a great, well-appointed house. We’ve stayed in numerous Airbnb‘s around the world, and this home clearly is one of the top that we’ve ever stayed at. I’d give it more than 5 stars if I could. It’s extremely rare to see an Airbnb kitchen stocked with a generous number of clean, matching plates, glasses, cups, and silverware; sufficient kitchen tools; and nice, clean, and updated appliances. The air fryer was much appreciated, and there was even an electric pressure cooker; both were like new. The game room was very nice and the overall amenities too many to mention. The location was great for easy access, in a peaceful suburban setting, but still only five minutes from all the restaurants on Rockside Road. Perfect for our group of 8 adults. Easy check in and check out too. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if we’re back in the area.

We had a great stay at the house to visit our daughter for Easter. The property was perfect for hosting our daughter and her friends from college; plenty of outdoor space for a cookout, a warm and cozy interior to help the college kids feel "at home", and comfortable accommodations for us all who stayed at the house. The yard is large with a fenced-in area for our dog, who LOVED it! Please keep in mind if there is rain, the yard can be a bit soggy, but that is to be expected and didn't deter us at all. The grill and other kitchen/cooking amenities were great, and Marcia left a TON of snacks and breakfast food for the house. The whole vibe of the place is authentically "farmhouse", which we loved. We did not use any televisions. etc, but we did see a few, so "modern conveniences" are there. We will surely consider renting again for future trips and highly recommend this rental.

Lovely welcome for us and for our little dog. We had bitter cold and lots of snow; Barry kept walks clear for us as well as clearing a swath of lawn for our little dog. We appreciated the filtered walter too.

Very cute house, conveniently located in the western suburbs of Cleveland. House was very clean and organized.

Older, comfortable home w/ lots of good character. Plenty of room for everyone and it was so nice having full bathrooms with each bedroom. Sunroom and big dining room afforded us lots of conversation time, card playing, and enjoying meals together. Can't say enough about how accommodating Kirk was with minor changes in our reservation requirements. Communication was great and Kirk was very responsive in helping us make sure we could watch March Madness games. Great deal if you need a family gathering place in the Mentor area.

Loved the festive decorations and atmosphere of the accommodations. Dishes and amenities, stocked ice machine, plenty of space. Would stay here again!

Can’t complain! This unit was perfect for my family! We were on the island for the Sports Car Races and had a blast! The ease of renting a golf cart was also so great! The sunrises and the moon viewing is incredible.

Great space for 4 couples as we don't want to share bedrooms at our age Golf cart rentals on site are great! Pool was still open so that was a plus and we thoroughly enjoyed our time on the island. Great experience. I know it is the end of the season but it could have been a bit cleaner on the desk and living room just spiders and shad flies. we live on the south side of Lake Erie also from Canada so we are used to it but expected it to be cleaned up and it was not, however it did not affect our trip had a great 60th birthday celebrations. thanks again,

Lovely spot with walk to access to the Lake Erie and a beautiful walking community. Of our group of five, three were from the high-end meeting and events industry. Professionally the property was accurately described, clean and in a great location. Access was easy and our group had a great time.

Sarah is very easy to work with and she was able to be flexible with how many days we could book, we very much appreciated that and how easy she made everything. The space is well kept and cozy, we love staying there!! Very highly recommended, definitely stay if you get a chance. :-)

We had a great time with my daughter and her family. The pool was beautiful and close. Most everything was clean. Dishwasher (outside) a bit dirty and window sills in master. Thank you for sending us $50 as we were not able to use the Weber grill that was in poor condition. Music was loud until midnight from somewhere beyond pool but it was Fri nite. Thanks!
