This cabin / house is an excellent fit for those who want to get out into the mountains a bit while being only 15 minutes down to Brumunddal city centre. In the winter there are nice ski tracks right outside the door and the atmospheric cabin combined with the sauna creates the perfect winter experience. The house is also suitable for those who need a place to stay for a shorter period of time while renovating their house, or looking for something new. Great view of Jotunheimen, Rondeslottet, Hunderfossen, and Fakkelmannen. Hunderfossen, Barnas gård, Lilleputthammer are only a short drive away on good roads. Short distance to all amenities. Approx. 30 min walk or 5 min drive from Gaia with convenience store, sports shop, bike rental and restaurants. 5 min walk to local pub that is open seasonally.

As you can see the pichtures show you two cabins, built together. The new cabin have two bedrooms, bath and a smal kitchen. Separate toilet. The old cabin has tow rooms one a bedroom , the other a living rom. The furniture is old in this rom , and has some old paintings as well. There are a stove to make it warm, nice and cosy. Firewood for free. There are plenty of space to sit outside, in wintertime this is on the starting place for Birken skirace. 3km from Rena.

The farm is located about 15 minutes drive by car to the city, Elverum. A grocery store is about 13 minutes away. You should have a car if you are going to stay with us. You will find a farm in operation, with tractors driving at times, but also silence, nature, trees, land and forest as neighbors. Occasionally you can see elk and deer on the land. Sometimes there are northern lights!
