Denia has miles of sandy and rocky beaches, where you can practice all kinds of water sports and from the house you can go hiking in the mountains. In the house there are also brochures with all the sports and cultural activities. Dénia is declared a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy.

The house (built between 1910-1920) is one of the few traditional Mediterranean-style buildings in the area that has been preserved and has not been demolished in order to build apartment blocks. La Casita de la Vieja Sirena is just a short walk to the beach, without having to cross any streets. Newly renovated, it has AC, fiber Wi-Fi, a mini pool, a terrace, new beds, and the double bed is king size. It is a quiet beach area, close to restaurants, supermarkets and other services. The beach is pebbled to the sea's edge, then it's sand. Very close walking and by car there are beaches totally of sand.
