We were 6 adults and 2 toddlers in the accommodation and were completely satisfied. 😍 The place was very clean and had a pleasant decor. Everything necessary was there without feeling packed. The master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and sauna was used by the couple with the two toddlers, and was perfectly suited for it with the baby bed and the large family bed. Only the door to the room could not be locked, and if you were not careful, the toddlers could tear open the door to the room while you were in the open ensuite bathroom. 😅🤣 The other two bedrooms were very small but sufficient. The one bed in the bedroom consists of two single beds. The rooms are a bit noisy, mainly because of the open kitchen. We took long walks to the Elbe and enjoyed the tranquility. Henriette and Wilbert were great hosts, I will recommend the place

The place was exactly as described and spotlessly clean. The location is perfect, just a few minutes walk from the station (though couldn't hear the trains, so quiet) and the high street, with plenty restaurants and shops in easy walking distance. Axel's communication was great, even messaging the day before to let us know we could check in early.

Simply superb! The place was clean, cozy and exactly as described. Everything went smoothly, the host was friendly and responsive. We felt comfortable and would book again without hesitation. Clear recommendation!

A truly wonderful experience of being able to stay in a so called Idyllic "Reethaus", kind of region traditional if you ask me. The house and apartment within are wonderfully positioned in a peacefull street on the outskirts of village, having plain fields in sight. Plenty of country side roads and outdoor space to explore, right out of doorstep. Bakery and groceries are within walking distance or a short ride with car. Apartment itself is well equiped, even for an extended stay. It has enough storage drawers for clothes and personal belongings. Kitchen offers all a person could wish for. Bathroom is pleasantly decorated and feels fresh and new. Bedroom has a large and comfortable bed. Free outside parking is always available. From day one, hosts were amazing and communication was always on point. They were also kind enough to adapt to one day late arrival, due to my flight delays. Returning up North, with no hesitation at all, I would once more choose my stay with Julius and Svea.

Everything is good, I'd love to come back

We enjoyed the space and the tranquility. Lovely detached cozy house outside the village, in a relaxing location, in the middle of forest slopes, meadows with horses and swampy area. A stately building with a soul, with history, full of literature and art - and yet very clean. Spacious bathrooms and nice showers. Contact with owner was pleasant, we were also allowed to use the washing machine although that was actually not the intention. Hamburg was very easy to reach by public transport. A few times an hour there is a train from Elmshorn to Hamburg Hbf

There were 6 of us over Easter and with a dog in the house in the garden. What can I say, we were more than satisfied. Everything was to our complete satisfaction, the cars are safe, the space is enough for 6 people + dog and it was clean. Susanne and Hinrich are extremely nice and helpful. If we were to come back, the house in the garden would be our first point of contact.

We enjoyed the small thatched roof house directly on the dyke very much. Cozy and original, the house is typically North German. The best part was the absolute tranquility and the great nature on the dyke. During long walks, you can relax wonderfully. Definitely book! We lived in the cottage for two weeks because our house was renovated and were very satisfied. Johanna is a great, always available and very nice hostess.

Christoph's apartment was in pristine condition. Everything you need is definitely there. We felt right at home. A quiet location, with good transport connections. Perfect for those who would like to ride a bike. Christoph greeted us for check-in and explained the necessary. The next morning there were fresh eggs from the happy chickens😊. Great! Thank you very much, always happy to come back!

We had a wonderful stay in the wooden hut. The surroundings were restful and relaxing, exactly what we were hoping for. The cottage offered enough space for four people, and we felt completely comfortable. It was particularly pleasant that someone was always available to help us quickly with any questions. Great place to unwind. We will be happy to come back.

A very cute, small granny apartment with shared garden. Very child-friendly. We felt very comfortable right away. Yvonne greeted us in a very friendly way. There was even a fresh breakfast egg, elderflower jelly and chicken feed for everyone with which we were allowed to feed the in-house chickens. Our son was very pleased with the child-friendly bedding and the available building blocks and books. There was also a toilet seat and potty. We stayed there for one night and could definitely imagine coming back again. There are many great destinations nearby. Everything was very clean, neat and easy to feel good.☺️

Very good amenities, large apartment, a very accommodating host, responded immediately to requests. The apartment is located just outside Jork, but buses run very frequently. The ferry to Hamburg is also easy to reach, we were traveling by bicycle, beautiful paths, many organic shops, also open on holidays, with delicious cake. We ate it in the blooming orchards. A really nice family house in a quite and peaceful area. Some of the beds are in the basement, but the rooms have fresh air and are clean and tidy. I wish we had more time to spend here rather than just an overnight stop on our way from Norway.

A special place to stay! The house is beautiful and modern, with many technological gadgets that make the stay extra comfortable. The pool and trampoline are absolutely gold for children and adults alike. Inga, the friendly host, is very helpful and always ready to answer questions, even after an extensive tour. It is also nice to know that she is staying on the same property, only 25 meters away, which offers extra reassurance. Please note that (during the period we stayed here) there were a lot of mosquitoes and wasps. The house is of course located directly on the forest. This is good to know for future guests. All in all a great experience and a place I would definitely recommend for 2 adults with kids!

My family and I stayed with Leonhard after a relocation for work, our arrival day changed for very well when Leonhard welcomed us. From the first moment very kindly, he welcomed us with a small purchase so that you only worry about leaving your bags and not going to shop. Definitely an experience that was worth living. The stay at Blanche and Holger's was very nice. We were received in a very friendly manner. We immediately felt at home. The apartment is very lovingly decorated with a very nice fenced garden. We won't be there for the last time. Thanks very much for this great stay.

Tania is a great host. She was helpful, open for every question, nice to talk to and at the same time empathetic and discreet. The little house is as beautiful as on the pictures. No, even better! You will see, after you breath in its historical feeling, after you enjoyed a pleasant and quite night and look from your comfi big bed right through the window over the river and the reed along its shore. It's like a vacation in the country side, right a the bottom of Germany's second largest city. It's magnificant. You can catch the Subway 15 min from there. Park your car for 2 Euros per day and jump on the train that runs 24/7. So there is no backdraw staying out there, only recreational purposes after a hard day as a tourist or a professional. Hamburg is asking its tribute. You just walk at sunset along the little river, the loop takes 30 min, it makes click and you are back to normal, recharged and ready for diner at the highly recommandable local Pub & restaurant (5 min walk).

Nico & Diana were very nice hosts. The communication worked out wonderfully and the colleagues had nothing to complain about. These will be happy to come back.

Wonderful stay in a lovingly maintained house! We had a great time in this very clean and well-equipped house. There was really nothing missing – the kitchen was fully furnished, everything worked perfectly and the whole house was very well maintained. We especially liked the foosball – perfect for relaxing evenings! The landlord couple lives right next door and was always responsive – incredibly likeable and warm. Our daughter was even allowed to play with her dog, which was the absolute highlight for her. Thank you for the wonderful time – we will be happy to come back!

Wonderful stay at Heike's - will come back any time! Hamburg is always worth a trip - and with this small, charming accommodation our trip became even more special. Heike personally welcomed my son, me and our little dog Rosi. She was very warm, showed us everything calmly and immediately said that we can contact her at any time if we are missing something - that gave a good feeling right away! About the apartment: The location is quiet, about 26 minutes by car from Hamburg city center. The apartment is small but equipped with everything you need. Absolutely sufficient for a short stay of three days - however, it might be a bit too cramped for two people in the long run, but that's just our personal feeling. A small minus point: The shower is not directly in the apartment, but about 5 meters away, accessible via a small path outside. That was a bit unusual for us, but not a big problem. Everything else was great

We felt very comfortable in Ulrike's bungalow! It is beautifully situated in a pleasant residential area on the northern edge of the heath and is surrounded by a great well-kept garden. Inside, the bungalow is very tastefully decorated, there is everything you need and we slept wonderfully. Ulrike is a very warm host - we were especially happy about the little Easter overlapping and felt welcome the whole time! We will be happy to come back!!
