Cabin vacation rentals in Effingham

Ours was a quick, turn around stay, but the first thing I appreciated was the friendly, helpful and responsive host communications! The 2nd thing was the spotless, comfortable cabin having everything we could have needed. The front faces a fire-pit and a woodsy area; very peaceful and pleasant.

Great place for a quick getaway! It's exactly as advertised, and well-stocked to spend a couple days. It provided a great, quieter space out of the city with a hot tub - exactly what I needed!

We happened to be staying while a rather strong storm system passed through. That made the spillway quite the experience. The day of arrival we had a steady flow passing over, but once the storm came through we were able to watch as it rapidly crashed down the steps and hear the roar of the water. In our opinions, it added to the experience. The rest of the property was great as well. Everything was clean and stocked with everything we could need. Highly recommend!

Mallory’s place is fantastic! Great location, beautiful views, and so comfortable. Decorated with personality and makes you want to settle right in and stay a while. Our pup loved it too!

This place was peaceful, homey, beautiful, a breath of fresh air. Great location, no one around. Home was very clean and amazing kitchen, and shower. We loved our stay, a little pricy, but was a great weekend get away.

The cabin was so unique I loved the peaceful and relaxing location! So comfy and clean! Just perfect for the two of us! Tony was very helpful and responsive! And made sure we made it safely and we enjoyed our stay I f you want a good hunting cabin or relaxing getaway this is the place to stay!

My family and I had to come in for a quick weekend trip. With 4 kids and 2 dogs it was a very affordable place to stay. My 6 year old found it fun to make the upstairs floors squeak, so once we had him stay downstairs, it was a very quiet and comfortable stay! It was quick and easy to access the highway, yet very quiet! We had to come and go frequently throughout the weekend. The host made sure it was warm for us when we got there and gave us the option for a late checkout. It was very nice.

This was an amazing AirBnB for anyone looking for a new, modern and peaceful cabin surrounded by nature, wildlife, and a lake with dock. I stayed for three nights with my dog while at a hunt event. We enjoyed hikes through the woods and he swam in the lake. The cabin itself is new and a fantastic design. Large kitchen with everything needed (toaster, coffee maker, cooking essentials) and great appliances. The master bedroom had a very comfortable king size bed, luxury linens, and a spacious en suite bath. The living area had a giant comfortable sofa and large tv. Even though the location is remote there is good WiFi available. Out the back is a wall of windows with a slider to a large deck with lots of seating and a grill. Loved the deck lighting, view of the stars, lake, and sunrise. The host was easy to communicate with, friendly and helpful and I would love to stay at this AirBnB again.

Our host Emily was great! Booker point was even greater. A beautiful spot all by itself on the lake. It has a huge dock that looks like it serves a community but it’s all your own. The cabin sits on a big piece of land all its own. Cypress trees outline the land with plenty of room. If your thing is cabin on the lake for a reasonable price. This is the place.

Look - you're going to look at the pictures and description of this place and think "this is too good to be true." I get it - we certainly did. But if you're worried about misleading information, the only fear you will realize is Tom and Beverly are *underselling* this amazing AirBnB. Everything is as good or better than described. The pool - OMG the Endless Pool is amazing! But even if you're not a pool person, Tom and Beverly have put in a lot of thought to making your stay amazing. Indoors you have air hockey, axe throwing, darts, and board games in an absolutely spacious game / enternainment area with vaulted ceilings, comfy couches and chairs, a desk, and incredibly large TV plus super-fast WiFi (500Mb). And that's just 1/3 of the indoor space! I'll run out of characters before I'm done, so here's what else - outdoor space is just as amazing - two private lakes, playground equipment if you've got kiddos, just gorgeous walking, etc. This is definitely one of the best - book it!

Tim always went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. The cabin was clean, had all items one could ever need when living for over a week, and was truly peaceful. I absolutely see myself visiting again. Easy recommend!

This is our second stay at Grant's place and it was everything we were hoping for. The cabin itself is delightful, but the outdoor areas are amazing! Grant and his wife could not be better hosts. I highly recommend this property!

Jeff, Sarah, and Wrigley were the best hosts! We had a busy week, and this space was just perfect. A well stocked kitchen, clean bathroom, and cozy space - all made us feel right at home. The hosts were super responsive and attentive. The whole process couldn’t have been smoother! Niche note: We had a wheelchair user with us. Doorways were plenty wide and space was easily navigable for him. Thanks for having us!!

Was just what we were looking for while visiting this small town. Very easy check in, Ronald was very responsive to messages. Beds were comfortable and had extra pillows and blankets if needed, place was very clean, easy to find and get in/out. Few restaurants close for such a small town. Will be staying again if in the area!!

It was wonderful staying at this Airbnb! Had so many beautiful sights, surrounded by nature. Great retreat for anyone visiting friends in the area!
