Great place. The weather was perfect and we loved the pool! Very kid and dog friendly. We hope to return one day!

The Mountain Getaway was a modern and comfortable place to stay, while we hiked the redwoods and took in the local attractions. The kitchen is well-equipped, the beds are super comfortable, and the showers were wonderful at the end of a day of outdoor activities.

This place was fantastic. We went with my teenage boys and young daughter and everyone had something to do, which is difficult to find. We’ll definitely be back!

We absolutely loved this home! It is surrounded by lovely trees, plants, and flowers, and is extremely private and quiet. The house is large and the condition of the vintage items is amazing. We were able to make full meals in the kitchen and we liked having quiet ac in each of the bedrooms. The master bedroom had a comfortable bed and its own large bathroom. The other bedrooms had beds that were a little firmer, so my daughter used a foam pad I always bring on one of the twins the second night. There are 3 bathrooms in the house which was so nice for our extended family group. The pool was exquisite within a completely private and gorgeous setting. The water temp felt perfect on the 90 degree days and there were so many lovely trees, a large deck, view of the river, and a pool house with a bathroom and sink and changing area. The outside shower was super handy as well. We really wished we could have stayed for a week! Our host, Kim, was very accommodating. We highly recommend staying!

We rented for our daughter's wedding in Hoopa. The space provided ample space for us and our extended family. It was quiet and peaceful.

This place was a sanctuary in the hills of Willow Creek. We loved sipping coffee by the pool in the morning and lounging during the day. It was a great spot for our broad age range of kids, with lots of fun activities at the house, swimming, ping pong, arcade games, pool basketball and a great little grassy area in the back. We would definitely stay again! Heather was an excellent host!

We stayed in Cottage 1 and couldn't have been more happy about this property. Great location, the cottage was so nicely decorated, clean and spacious. I highly recommend this property if you are visiting Fortuna, great little fenced back yard, garden furniture and coffee shop right around the corner. I can't wait to come back and stay there again. Beautiful spot! We’ve stayed here twice now and have always enjoyed how easy it is to walk around. The beach and other cool spots are easily accessible. The hosts are also very friendly and attentive.

Evelyn's home is very organized, clean, and well designed place, and wonderfully stocked. Awesome neighborhood, and great view. Fun fact: there's a doe that come in the neighborhood every early morning and its a wonderful sight. Evelyn communicate's well, and very friendly. I would love to come back next time I visit up north again.

I can't say it enough but I wish we could just stay in the place forever. Pauline was absolutely amazing. She was so helpful and thoughtful during the whole process. If you can, please booked this place, it's absolutely a Perferct place to get away from it all.

This was our second stay here and it was just as wonderful this time as was 3 years ago. We love the back door entrance to the city redwood park with hiking trails and all manner of forest adventures plus the zoo and the tree walk. The place is clean and comfortable. The kitchen worked well for several meals we cooked including cookies! We will definitely come again!

Great place to stay. Comfortable bed and chairs, oven, private fenced yard for pets, good shower. We took our dogs with no problems. I would stay here again.

This was a great stay. The location was incredibly beautiful and quiet, and it was spacious and comfortable. We did a lot of cooking, and the kitchen was well equipped and self-explanatory. The back deck and views of the meadow and forest beyond was wonderful. The location isn't in the middle of Eureka, but for nature and hiking it can't be beat.

If you’re looking for some seclusion and a killer view, this is the place for you. The deck of this home is worth every penny (and worth overlooking a few minor details that maybe warranted a 4.5 star instead of a 5) Exterior: like I said, the deck is great. Lots of room and nice fire table. We spent most of our time here. Hot tub is clean and easy to use. Interior: it is very charming. Every bedroom had a bathroom, which we appreciated. Getting there: this is a bit of a challenge. Once you leave the highway it is a narrow, dirt road on a cliff. The road to the house isn’t well marked. There is a very skinny driveway with a sharp turn with no signage. We were doing this in the dark and in a large SUV which I don’t recommend. Print the directions they send as there is no service to get them once you’re in the area. I would also advise being prepared to feed yourself and not rely on restaurants. Most places were closed by 7 or 8 and we kept having to run into Eureka after hiking all day

easy access, plenty of accessories

I’ve stayed here many times! The location is great. Easy walk to Main Street and all the activities. The house is very comfortable. Coming back for Rodeo week in July with my daughter.

Erica was very responsive and provided great instructions. There are other homes around but this property has a privacy fence all of the way around and a gate that opens with code or remote. The home was beautifully decorated and exactly like the photos. The kitchen is well stocked and the hot tub is well maintained and very nice. The walk to the beach was not far but keep in mind that some of the walk across the sand dunes and through the wooded area might be challenging for anyone with health concerns or balance issues. This not a high traffic beach but is beautiful because of the seclusion and is a great place to watch the sunset. Overall recommend this property if staying in the area.

We enjoyed our stay. The settings beautiful. The place was great. Well stocked kitchen. Our grandchildren loved the yard and seeing the farm animals.

Andelain was a Great host! The home was beautiful and had everything you could need. Beautiful scenery around the property, and wasn’t far from hiking trails . Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay out that way!

Talk about Northern California paradise, Graeme's place is so beautiful and so relaxing. It is a bit of a drive from the 101 but so worth it for the peace and quiet; slept better than I have in months. Trees forever; well supplied kitchen--you can cook anything as plenty of pots/pans, utensils. Books and games for kids and adults; we had 3 generations with us and everyone hated to leave.

Janay's house was cleaner and more organized than I expected, and I would stay here again if I ever travel here again.

this is a fantastic place to end your day and relax and unwind with a bright clean space and the hot tub is a nice addition. lots of snacks for after we traveled. the surroundings are beautiful and right on the Avenue of the Giants. Quiet and clean can't ask for any better
