its a cute little home with a great view. great access to surrounding points of interest. it was very clean and our host was quick to respond. the treats were a nice add and we enjoyed the comfortable space. the yard was inviting and with great sit and sip places to enjoy the fresh air over a cup of coffee. I would definitely look to stay here in my future travels

Ian’s treehouse was a grownup kid’s dream come true! It was clearly built with love and care, and let me tell you I did NOT want to leave! The bed and space was delightfully cozy, the amenities perfect, and the private outdoor shower underneath the treehouse was perfect. Zero complaints! Can’t wait to come again!

Cream City Cottage

We Loved Loved our stay at Cream City Cottage---it was a lavish charming comfortable clean space with all the necessary amenities. The cute electric stoves in the main rooms heated the place well. The sun room was great to eat in on gloomy as well as sunny days. We truly enjoyed cooking/bbqing in the modern kitchen & sweet yard. The only quirk was that the bathroom sink water never quite got hot (would take a long time/waste of water to get there), but we used the tub water instead. The location was superb, being close enough to walk to Main St. (eateries, shops, community center events---ableskiver breakfast!), and a quick drive to beach & Russ Pk hiking trails (& convenient to Eureka, Arcata,Trinidad). Also enjoyed talking to friendly town folk. Definitely plan on being back, and listening to music in Old Steeple (off-season currently).

This was my favorite Airbnb stay so far - and I’m picky. The aesthetic is so cozy, and there’s such an attention to detail with the decor and design that it makes the space a joy to be in and an oasis to come back to from the local redwood hikes. It’s quiet, serene, safe and the cottage is surrounded by daisies which adds a touch of magic. Honestly, I didn’t want to leave. I spent the evenings sipping tea, reading and keeping the fire going in the wood stove. Cassandra and John are super kind and responsive. Their restaurant suggestions nearby were great, and I love that the town has plenty of options for gf/df food. Don’t even hesitate, this place is worth it and you won’t regret it.

The Old Steeple is a vintage and spectacular residence! The Green Room is beautiful and boasts a full kitchen in a quirky, fun and vintage old church. Ask for a tour of the beautiful stained glass windows and stage as well! Ferndale is fun, eclectic and charming!

The 4 of us loved Kylee’s place. In a beautiful valley with cows, horses and Bones the cat. Several members of the family met us as we arrived. They were so welcoming and helpful. We could not think of a more enjoyable place to spend 4 days.

Peaceful retreat in town.

Nice place- clean, comfortable, attractive and a reasonable price. Good location. Can walk to town, yet the home is several blocks from the Main Street so is quiet and peaceful with pastoral surroundings. Host is friendly, responsive and provided a generous stocked refrigerator.

Cozy Camper in the Redwoods

I was passing through the area solo on a trip. Derek was very responsive. Google Maps took me right to it. Parking spot was marked and right next to the RV. I enjoyed the setup and what was provided. Very clean and quiet at night. Perfect for my needs. Thank you Derek and family!
