Vacation rentals with lake access in Edertal

We (2 adults and 1 toddler) spent a few days at Lake Edersee and enjoyed staying with Gerhard very much. The apartment is very cozy and spacious and offers a wonderful view of Waldeck Castle. Gerhard and his wife were always approachable for us, extremely friendly and helpful. Highlight (especially with toddler) was the massage chair we liked to use. The lake is not in the immediate vicinity, but is also easily accessible by bus and the Waldecker Geckobahn.

Lovingly furnished, super equipped and a great view - we didn't lack anything. We felt very comfortable right away!

The accommodation is top! Very well and modern equipped, clean and furnished as shown in the photos. Communication with the owners is also quick and detailed. Only the cleaning fee of €100 is quite high, but we had to bring our own bed linen, clear the dishwasher and empty the garbage cans ourselves. Checking the electricity meter itself is also recommended (own measurement was 50% less kwh). But definitely recommended.

A very nice place to stay. Although it is a bit remote, it is an excellent place to relax, especially thanks to the wellness area.

We were two adults and 2 children. All very satisfied. We liked being at the beach section and the accommodation really had everything you need. Playground just around the corner, pet-friendly, everything great.

Due to the smooth communication and the super nice house, we had a great time there. We'd love to come back anytime and we'll definitely recommend it! Thank you! :)

We had a wonderful time in the cottage on Lake Twist! Especially for families with young children, the house is ideal: secured sockets, a children's fence by the stairs, many toys and even a child seat make for a relaxing holiday. The big ones are also well taken care of: there are plenty of seating. The terrace is large and in the evening you can enjoy the sun on the bench in front of the house. Inside, a cozy sofa invites you to relax, and the large dining table is perfect for shared meals or game nights. There are some gastronomicAngebore on the lake. The delicious ice cream at Klabautermann is highly recommended! Many thanks to the warm hosts – we will be happy to come back!

Excellent apartment, tasteful and modern decor, everything worked fine. Everything seemed as good as new (February 2025). Good comfortable beds. Winterberg is nearby by car. Beautiful view. Quiet location. Easy to find. Key exchange went smoothly. In short, not so much to criticize actually.

The view is really fantastic! That in combination with the luxurious look of the apartment and the lovely terrace makes this a great experience. The kitchen is beautiful, practical and complete. Everything else was fine. Andreas is very nice and the communication was excellent. We'd love to come back.

Nice attic apartment on the Fulda with great views. Tram outside the door, shopping within walking distance - a really good alternative in a quiet location!

We were guests of Christiane and her husband for a short vacation. Everything was as described and even more beautiful than in the photos. We were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. Small niceties such as fresh cherries and flowers have rounded off the feeling of well-being. This best describes the hospitality: We wanted to grill and asked for a wood grill. A short time later, a barbecue with coal, lighter, tongs, etc. was on our beautiful terrace. Really great:) Thank you for everything

Everything fine as previously rated. Only the bed in the bedroom was a bit too narrow for us with 1.40 m width for two people. But overall, we would like to book again. Thanks for the stay.

We have been there for the second time and also as the first time the stay there was very pleasant and we had no problems. We definitely recommend the house. The place is very nice, communication with the owner is very good and without problems.

Very cozy accommodation, 4-minute walk to the Silbersee. Super parking, garden, barbecue, deck chairs, swing and outdoor children's toys provided. The kitchen is well equipped. The only drawback for people with small children is that the house is bright, you can hear the wood creaking when you walk around on the upper floor. The Wi-Fi is very weak and you hardly have any network there, not tragic but a bit annoying for planning excursions, home office would not be possible. Otherwise great accommodation, offers a lot in the nearby area. Every space in the house was used sensibly, so that 6 people have enough space. We would come back.

Our staff were very satisfied and felt very at home. Valentin was very flexible and helpful in all matters. Our employees will be happy to come back.

Very nice stay at wolfgang. Beautiful park in a special landscape. Short lines with the manager via app. Very neat house with BBQ bikes sunbed for outdoor. And a beautiful view. minus was a creaking staircase but that is a small detail. Highly recommended for a delightful stay

We had the pleasure of enjoying a rustic yet beautifully furnished place. The amenities were complete, and there was everything you need for a comfortable stay. Particularly noteworthy are the electric cars for children – they were a complete success and provided a lot of joy! Unfortunately, we were not able to try out the hot tub due to the weather, but that does not detract from the positive impression. We felt completely comfortable and look forward to returning.
