The apartment in the Hasen-Haus is located not far from Lake Affoldern, right at the entrance to the Kellerwald National Park – the perfect start to wonderful hikes. It is about 2 km to Lake Edersee. Around the lake there are countless leisure activities for all ages: the wildlife park, the summer toboggan run, a treetop trail, the climbing park, bike tours, water sports and swimming on and in the lake, a canoe tour on the Eder and much more.

The Edersee holiday resort has 11 mini chalets in Edertal-Hemfurth. The mini chalets are designed for up to 4 people. On a living area of 30 m² there is a bedroom with double bed, a children's room with bunk bed, a bathroom with shower and a living/dining area with kitchen. The Eulenkopf chalet has a size of 40 m² and is designed for up to 2 people.
