A good house also for a longer stay. From the village you can reach Cordoba in 20 minutes; Seville, Granada, etc. are about the same distance (just under 2 hours). The house is cozy, especially for a larger group, several lounges. The pool was cleaned and refilled daily and Enrique was very kind and ready for individual requests more towels, delayed departure).

Marcos welcomed us great, explained and showed us around the house, and offered for any questions/needs that came up. The house is great to take advantage of a few days with friends, both in the summer (with the pool and barbecue with lots of shade), and in winter (living room with fireplace and porch in the sun). And the beautiful environment, right next to the Huéznar and with the center of the village with everything you need a stroll or 5 min drive. We'll be back for sure.

Simply put, we spent a few days in the paradise. The accommodation is an ideal place in the middle of nature to disconnect, but very close to the City. Totally recommended. Gregorio a super host.

We were a family of three generations with 4 children, 8 and under. We all had a wonderful, relaxing time. The large, spectacular pool was ideal for adults and children and the small shallow area allowed the youngest children to play safely. The veranda provided welcome shade for breakfast and lunch and a magical setting to dine, overlooking the illuminated pool and garden on balmy evenings. The house was spacious and well equipped, including a large barbecue in the garden, and the air-conditioning was effective. Ana was welcoming and responded quickly to any requests. Temperatures reached the high 30s most days, but we avoided the mid afternoon heat and took full advantage of the warm evenings. Castro del Rio is very different from the coastal tourist hotspots but has several restaurants, a couple of supermarkets and a picturesque centre around the castle. Cordoba and large supermarkets are a short drive away. We would love to return!

A charming house, spacious facilities, and a large swimming pool for spending a few days relaxing as a family. We have had a great time and hope to do it again.

Very nice place to have a good time. l Lots of space and privacy, all clean and the owner is very friendly and helpful. She offered us a lot of flexibility with check-in and checkout. Can recommend the place and would come back.

Pedro was very kind. The house is great, with lots of details and very well furnished. It's very close to the village but with total privacy. Being a bit high up, you can see some very nice sunsets.

What a special place this is! Our group of 9 (2 families, with three teenagers and two younger kids) were comfortable and well cared for. The setting is serene and everyone enjoyed the pool and the scent of orange blossoms for our 4-night stay. Convenient to Carmona and Seville and some smaller villages. Nati and her family made us feel at home. We will be back for certain.

Javier and his wife are a kind and lovely couple. They accompanied us to the house and gave us a tour of the entire place to tell us where everything we needed was. Very attentive. The house and the views are beautiful. We will definitely be back again.

We had a great weekend at Trasierra's house. Fully equipped and very welcoming, the fireplace at this time is an extra point. We would repeat again.

We had a great week, the house has everything you need, cutlery, kitchenware, kitchen utensils, etc. The beds perfect for a good rest and the rooms and other very spacious areas. We have had a heatwave in Spain but with the pool and the magnificent patio it takes another way, plus what will these houses look like a cooler? Rafael and his wife are very welcoming and smiling, always available if needed. This stay was beautiful! Better than in the photos, we expected it to be pretty but we were left speechless by the quiet accommodation and the beautiful view that was offered to us. no regrets about the place, no regrets about the price. it's a really lovely place. Location idea if you want to do day trips to Cordoba, Grenada, Ronda, etc. Nice, peaceful and secluded but close to the highway. Pako us lovely too. strongly recommend

We had a great stay at Casa J&V. Francisco met us when we arrived and was very kind and helpful, even though we didn’t speak the same language. He showed us around and made sure we had everything we needed. The house was clean, comfortable, and had a really nice outdoor space. It’s a quiet area, which made it a very relaxing stay. Would definitely recommend and would be happy to stay again.

La casita is in the middle of nature but within walking distance of the village of hornachuelos. A wonderful place to disconnect.
