Houseboat vacation rentals in Eastern Europe

We stayed here during our time in Scandinavia and it was an absolute highlight of the trip. Ulrica was very friendly, warm, and welcoming, which was so lovely after a day of traveling. The space itself is gorgeous, peaceful, and private. Waking up to swans swimming just outside the window was a wonderful way to start the day. While staying here, my husband and I kept saying that we couldn’t believe where we were - it was all just so beautiful and idyllic. Highly recommend to anyone traveling to the Stockholm area & take advantage of the additional spa/wood-fired sauna offering! They were a treat to end the day with. Thank you, Ulrica for your hospitality and for sharing such a special place!! - Insight for anyone traveling without a car: the public transit was easy to use to and from Stockholm. The walk to the bus stop is a bit hilly so take that into consideration with luggage :) We did use an Uber once after a long day wandering in Stockholm and it was about 18€.

This was a special stay for us. We were able to access a beautiful cove and sleep under the stars, which would have been unavailable otherwise. The beach restaurant was exactly the sort of place you want to find when visiting a new spot. The idea of paddle boarding to dinner was odd in concept, but actually very easy and made the evening that much more memorable. Kresco was a great skipper who accommodated our priorities. When weather interfered with our plans he made sure our last night was still special, helping with a reservation to a lovely restaurant back in Vis. 10/10 would recommend.

The space on the houseboat is very generous. The bedroom has an integrated bathroom with shower. In the huge living room there is a spacious and comfortable folding couch. There is also a kitchen and 2 toilets. Parking is available right at the dock. The houseboat is beautifully decorated, with great designer furniture. The view of the water you have in the whole boat is fantastic; the area is quiet. You can also sit on the two terraces of the boat to enjoy this and relax. This gives you a perfect mix between a quiet vacation on the water and a lively city trip. Close to the boat there are good cafes and restaurants: HomeKitchen (café right nearby), The Eatery, Vnitroblok. There is also a supermarket very close by. To get downtown, a taxi (Uber) is available, it only costs EUR 10. Hana and her husband are very nice and helpful hosts.

Super friendly host. Very forthcoming and kind. Went out of their way to let our daughter play with their Family toys as well. Great location.

We had two wonderful nights on the houseboat. As a surprise, it was preheated and decorated with candles, so cozy! The hosts were always available and we got along right away. We will definitely be back - it was just fantastic!!! We hope that as your guests you always appreciate your hospitality and your efforts!

Andy is very nice, explained everything to us exactly and communication was very easy overall. We were picked up at the jetty and were allowed to use the boat on our own. The houseboat is very cozy and the wood stove was great, especially now in the cold season! Overall a good stay 👍🏼

We had a really nice time. The houseboat was perfect - modern, clean, cozy, romantic. Everything was fine, so we hardly needed anything from Danny and Nicole, but the only time we needed help, they responded immediately. I can absolutely recommend this Airbnb for a romantic, quiet, magical time!

Everything was perfect! The place looked exactly like the photos—clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The location was great, easy access to everything we needed. The host was super helpful and responsive to all our questions. Would definitely stay here again. Me and my girlfriend went there for a birthday occasion and Benjamin arranged and left a birthday cake in the cottage plus balloons which we did not even ask for it! It was one of the amazing and relaxing Airbnb we’ve ever stayed! Definitely recommend it! Don’t even think about twice for this cottage, just go for it :)

As a group of 4 girls, we had a great wow effect on arrival. The houseboat is simply wonderful, the view of the water and the meadow had a calming effect :-). The amenities are just wonderful and completely sufficient, everything has been thought of. The beds were extremely comfortable. We took wonderful excursions nearby and were able to enjoy the sunset on the boat or on the jetty further ahead. The rolls from the roll service at the campsite were also very tasty. All in all, a well-rounded short trip. Next time we'll come when it's warmer to try out the standup paddles.

Very nice and quiet place something different. Wouldn't be thought of in a big city. It was very relaxing. The only thing you could complain about is that there is no current at this point of the bay and thus the water is dirty, but does not smell unpleasant. However, we had a kingfisher there again and again, herons and even a Nutria and the rest of the area is also quite nice and downtown can be reached in 15 to 20 minutes. The caretaker on site was very nice and helpful. On one side there is a junkyard, but on the other side (north side) you have a beautiful view. Thanks for everything and best regards.

Our stay on the boat was magical! You feel like you're in a bubble on this beautiful boat! I would recommend it 100% without hesitation!!!

Charming place, deep peace and quiet. Every now and then, swans, ducks, cormorants, cranes, and herons make it seem like we're in the middle of this soothing spectacle. Nearby is a museum, the Starowierców monastery, and a cafe run by very kind hosts, creating a unique atmosphere. The property was very clean and well-equipped with small extras that make the stay more attractive, we felt at home there:)

We had 4 fantastic days in great weather in Berlin on the boat on the river. The houseboat is really great. You feel like you're in nature, can watch birds and listen to the water splash. We felt extremely comfortable and were immediately in a vacation mood. It doesn't get any better than this for 4 days in the big city. The amenities are great and left nothing to be desired. Everything super maintained and sparkling clean. 5 stars!

Stayed one night—very clean with an amazing view, especially from the outdoor chairs. I recommend taking a walk around the nearby park. I met Jovanka when I had an issue getting a taxi to the airport—she was super helpful and made sure we got one. Thank you so much!

Everything was good and as described. You need to bring water to drink or make tea/coffee. There was only 1.5 liters in the house. If you need more tea/coffee, it's better to buy it on the way. Included are 2 tea bags and 2 capsules. Questions were almost always answered quickly and thoroughly. The bed was completely ready to sleep. We were very tired after the road so it was nice. The sauna has everything you need to melt it. The view is really lovely, it was nice to spend a night there and wake up with sunrise and nice water view We had a favorable experience 🌷
