Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

Lovely cabin by the sea

Welcome to our charming cottage, built in classic Lofoten style, inspired by the traditional wooden houses in Northern Norway. Here you get a perfect combination of rustic coastal charm and modern comfort – ideal as a base for nature experiences, family fun or just total relaxation in beautiful surroundings. The cabin has 3 bedrooms and plenty of room for 6 adults. In addition, there is a travel bed for small children and a sofa bed that is suitable for children or teenagers.

Koskikara

A lovely cabin on the shore of Kalkkistenkoski. On the terace you can grill, eat, enjoy the evening sun, lounge on the deck chairs or see the local bird populations. The cabin also has a sauna, hot tub and an indoor fireplace. The cabins kitchen has the essentials for cooking and the barbeque and outdoor fireplace can also be used for cooking. The kitchen and sauna have warm water and drinking water will be delivered to the cabin. The cabin has an outdoor composting toilet.

Northern lights paradise

Our luxury is peace and quiet under the starry sky and northern lights. You can get there by car, but you don't have to see anyone during your entire stay if you don't want to, but you're still only about 45 minutes from the city center. We are sure that you will fall in love with our peaceful cabin in the middle of snow and northern lights. The cottage is always warm when you arrive, and we will take care of you throughout your stay as if you were our friends.

For your sole use, we offer our around 200 years old, core renovated cabin. Alpine coziness meets modernity. Whether summer or winter, this stylish cabin offers the perfect accommodation for four in about 50 square meters. It is located on a sunny hillside. This quaint retreat is not far from the Mölltal Glacier Railway and many excursion destinations for hiking, climbing, skiing/hiking, canoeing and much more. Newly built cabin with a high standard and its own shoreline located in the middle between Henningsvær and Svolvær in Lofoten. The cottage is secluded located without neighbours. Walking distance to mountains and beach. Good opportunities for fishing for sea trout right outside the living room door. Cross country slope 100m from the cottage. Sun from early morning to late evening. The perfect starting point for an active and relaxing Lofoten holiday!

It can hardly be described - it has to be experienced. You live on the outside of adventure island Senja. You don't get any closer to nature - with a glass facade of close to 30 sqm you have the feeling of sitting outside while you sit inside. Whether it's midnight sun or northern lights - it will never be boring to see the sea, mountains and wildlife along Bergsfjorden. The cabin was completed in the fall of 2018 and has a high standard.

This is the place if you want to relax and see a Northern lights! A little log cottage with well equipped with own kitchen, showers and toilet. There is a double bed in the cottage and extra bed is available for request (max. 3 persons). Perfect for individual travelers, couples and little families.
