Vacation rentals with a fireplace in East Neuk

The Old Post Office is in a fantastic location. The fishing villages of East Neuk are gorgeous. Lots of walking and plenty of places to eat. The house is well equipped, and we had a very comfortable stay. My top tip, if you are there in the strawberry season buy the local ones from Pittenweem, they are the best! Thank you Helen.

What a wonderful home from home. Lynne was a superb host, friendly and great communication. The house waas cosy, very well equipped. A lovely village close to the harbour and nearby amenities inckuding a cafe nearby. Given time of the year it was great to arrive to a Christmas tree lit up and the goodies were wonderful

Great location for us. We have stayed in Crail before & knew how central this was. A very well equipped flat with the comfiest bed. Bed linen & towels supplied along with coffee, tea, milk, biscuits etc to get you started. A nice welcome. Easy to work heating & hot water. Would recommend this flat & hope to be back.

We had a beautiful stay here. The house is perfect, had everything we needed. We loved the kitchen space and living space, felt so cosy and at home there. Our hosts were so generous with us, making our recent engagement even more special - thank you again! Lots of recommendations for walks and places to eat which was great. We were right in the countryside with nature at its finest…deer in the garden, horses trotting along the path, sheep and chickens nearby, it was so calming! Couldn’t have asked for anything more, 10/10 definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Ella’s Cottage. The place was spotlessly clean and incredibly well presented. We were in town for a wedding at the Cow Shed in Crail and needed somewhere suitable to stay over the weekend with our toddler – this was perfect. Audrey was so thoughtful and accommodating, providing a toddler gate at the top of the stairs and a travel cot (we just brought our own bedding). It made things so much easier – especially when you're already packing like you're moving house with a little one! The welcome touches were also lovely – a fresh loaf of bread, butter, a pint of milk and a bottle of prosecco on arrival. Communication throughout was brilliant, with clear instructions for access and smooth check-in and check-out. We had no issues at all – everything was spot on. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, family-friendly getaway!

We absolutely loved this place! I can’t recommend it enough. Modern, beautifully decorated and smelled so clean and fresh from the moment we entered. The beds were extremely comfortable. You know when the linens are white, they are super clean. There are two fantastic bathrooms with plenty of space to store toiletries. One is in the master with a nice bathtub. The other is in the hall across from the second large bedroom. It has a modern shower. Both bathrooms were very clean. The views from this place were fabulous. We loved the wood burning fireplace. We played four round of golf in St. Andrew’s. You are about 15 minutes away so you would need a car. Very spacious. Washing machine and dryer were top notch. The kitchen is spacious, clean and beautiful. Lots of room. We were two couples and all four of us give this our highest ratings. I would absolutely recommend this place to friends and family. :)

Just a fantastic stay. Place is huge. Bigger than pics. Location is prime. We went for golf trip. Couldn’t have been better. Susan is awesome. Highly recommend.

It’s a beautiful apartment with an amazing sea view. In the evening, we fell asleep to the sound of the waves, and in the morning we woke up to a stunning view of the sea horizon. The place is very well equipped – we didn’t miss anything. The entire apartment is spacious and beautifully and stylishly furnished. The only downside for us was the mattress in the bedroom, as it was too soft and uncomfortable to sleep on. The location is excellent – the beach is right across the street and the shop is just a 5-minute walk away. North Berwick is a wonderful place to relax, and staying in this apartment added perfectly to the charming seaside atmosphere of the town.

Liz was an excellent host! She was very responsive to every inquiry. The flat was beautifully decorated and matches the photos and description. It is well cared for and very clean. The location was perfect, easy to golf, to shops and restaurants. I honestly can't think of a complaint.

I've stayed here several times. the accommodation is spotlessly clean, has everything you need and is in a quiet residential street with parking outside. it is a 5 minute drive from the lovely town of Broughty Ferry or about 15 minutes from Dundee centre. Allan and Lucy are friendly, responsive hosts. Highly recommended.

2 Queens Terrace was a perfect apartment for our party of 8. The accommodations were very comfortable, and the location couldn't be beat as we could easily walk to a variety of restaurants or other popular St. Andrews sites. Mark and Jill were wonderful hosts. They've thought of many extra amenities by providing a few essentials in the fridge, some snacks & drinks, and things like charging cords and fans in each bedroom. We highly recommend this apartment for anyone visiting St. Andrews.

Really felt like a home away from home with enough warmth and everything you may need for a shorter or longer stay. Definitely recommended!

We were in town for a little over a week - mainly to make photography trips to Isle of May and Bass Rock. This flat was fantastic. Great views of the water and very close to several restaurants and an amazing bakery. We didn't even bring a car. Just took a train from Edinburgh and walked to and from the train station. Never felt the need for a car. If we ever find ourselves back in North Berwick, we will absolutely stay here again.

We had an incredibly beautiful and relaxing time at Karen's place in the very idyllic place Burntisland. Actually, we wanted to stay directly in Edinburgh, which we couldn't afford. When we arrived in Burntisland, we were extremely positively surprised and quickly fell in love with the small place. In the end, we even found it better there than in Edinburgh. Not only is the city very convenient to reach by train within 40 minutes, the trains also run very regularly. The place itself is small but nice. All necessary shops, smaller food stalls, cafes or restaurants are available. However, we enjoyed the varied nature the most. You are right by the sea, behind you has the forest, a beautiful hillside, whose views are definitely worth climbing. The Fife Coastal Path runs through several such small places along the coast and the section around Burntisland is simply fantastic. Highly recommended!

We liked everything, the price is good

Stayed here for 2 nights with 5 other adults - one of the best decisions! As a start, check-in was smooth. Everyone has their bed, towels which is great. Had to figure out the heater (our country is Summer all year) and Lukas was very responsive. This location is almost a straight drive to the city centre. With free parking at the location, it gave us great relief to know we won’t get penalised. Love this place! I would recommend this to others.

A beautiful home in a gorgeous setting. It was perfect for our couples retreat and workshops. Everything was amazing.

Entering this well appointed, beautiful home, there is a feeling of warmth and relaxation. The skylights bring in the natural light to the bathrooms. The Kitchen is modern and sleek, with everything you need to make a first class meal. The visually stunning, spacious backyard has a wonderful garden. There is a park just behind the house. My daily jog would lead me down to the beach. Here i would do a quick cold plunge- rejuvenating my body. The area is surrounded by a world renowned collection of golf clubs. The Longniddry golf club is a short walk and is a fun track. Thank you for being great hosts.

I can’t say enough about this place and how lovely Ian and Flo were in being such great hosts. Not only was the house fantastic but they were so kind and helpful… It was like staying with good friends.!
