Karen and Bruce were incredibly kind and thoughtful hosts during my stay with my daughter. The suite was very attractive and comfortable, with a pleasantly powerful shower. It's a short walk from the city center in a residential area, so not the kind of thing you'd pick if your preference is to walk out your door to find places for going out for breakfast. But better yet, they provide breakfast for free, overlooking a beautiful and peaceful garden.

I have stayed at Christina’s home many times before and each time it never lets me down. Her and Andy are very welcoming and hospitable hosts that always make me feel right at home. Speaking of her home it’s in a great location (close to shops and restaurants and great for running or walking- if that’s your thing) anytime I go to Edinburgh I stay at this place it’s simply wonderful!

My wife and I enjoyed a couple of nights in Suzie's place. Suzie was very friendly, a great host and her communications, leading up to our stay, were excellent. Her flat is very centrally located and the room was bright, airy and spotlessly clean, the bed very comfortable and the ensuite was equipped with a fantastic shower. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast - fruit, yoghurt, muesli, bread / toast, etc. - looking out on Calton Hill. Our only regret was that the much lauded Mr Pickles wasn't in residence during our stay! We'd highly recommend the accommodation and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Jill was open, warm and welcoming, and gave lots of great advice and recommendations. The house was cosy, quiet and comfortable. It really felt like a home from home. A great area to explore and easy to get around on public transport. Wonderful. I hope to visit again!

I stayed at the Giddy Limit for a couple of nights before my wedding and it was the perfect location to get ready! The apartment is in a beautiful house and gardens, has loads of natural night and even a view to the loch from the balcony. Evelyn was extremely communicative and helpful throughout. Highly recommend!

Dave’s home is in a relatively safe neighborhood. Since he lives on the property, everything is well maintained and always in working condition. Although it’s a bit far from tourist attractions, it’s conveniently located near a bus stop, making travel easy. The bathroom and bedroom are clean, with the bedroom being especially cozy thanks to an efficient heating system that makes the stay very comfortable. Plus, breakfast is provided every morning, which is a lovely bonus.

Jamie made sure we were welcomed into the house and gave us hints and tips for the local area. There was a problem with the heating when we arrived (start of the season niggles) but he had a sparky and plumber on site immediately. The house is a great location and Elie is so chilled with great places to eat and central for day trips to other beautiful villages such as Crail and Anstruther. The main living area works so well with kitchen, dining table and lounge area all together plus enough comfy seating for 8 to 10 people (a major failing in many houses with 4 or 5 beds). We all loved our time there

Susie's place is very nice , close to the town and the bus stop ans supermarket. Susie herself is smiling and polite. She also prepares breakfast for her guests which is very good for the beginning of the day. Should we ever return to Edinburgh, we ll book again with Susie- recommend!!!

The Leveret is perfect for two people wanting a clean, cosy place to stay whilst they explore East Lothian. Helen and Sandy are both very friendly and on-hand to answer any questions, not that you should have any because there is a guide and everything is straight forward. Aberlady is a beautiful village, perfectly located to explore North Berwick, enjoy the beaches at Gullane and yellow craig, you can even catch a bus outside the front door that will take you into Edinburgh.

This was a fantastic find! The space is gorgeous, bed is very comfortable, and Kate and Julian's hospitality is unsurpassed! Breakfast was delicious (including fresh-picked berries from their ecofarm and homemade yogurt!), and Bear (the dog) is a complete sweetheart. All very welcoming and gracious. Highly recommend!
