John site is a hostel, but everthing is clean and tidy. The room was nice and quiet although the hostel is situated at the waterfront, a perfect place directly in the centre of Santakan. The breakfasr including Pankakes was sensational.The only point: Senior travellers must be aware of a lot of stairs and no lift.

The diving hall is good ~ The location is particularly good, right in front of the pier.After two days of island jumping, it was easy to travel from the place to stay.Snorkel diving coach is very good, fun, and very attentive.Took us a lot of nice photos while diving.Also, the owner of this shop is Chinese, and it is very convenient to exchange when you travel to the island, so it is very convenient for us to introduce it carefully.Friends are coming to visit in the future will recommend this home.

It is really like giving home warm homestay, and it is very clean and tidy, the location is also very good, right in Semporna town.Next to it is Tianwang seafood house, fully relying on to eat seafood here.

This is a lovely place to stay, with everything you might need. The staff are very friendly and respond promptly and are willing to help in every way. They even arrange day trips and transfers to the airport, so all in all would recommend

Awesome spot right on the riverbank. 1st floor has shared room, 2nd floor has 3 private rooms. Only one of which has a window and faces the river, but didn’t seem like it could be opened so the room was a bit stuffy. They asked me to download an app for a smartlock, but the downstairs door was often left open (thankfully was closed at night), and I used a key for my room instead of the app/smartlock.

This place was absolutely perfect. The locking system was super easy to use, the location could not have been more perfect, the amenities were plentiful (the tv room was so cool!!) and Maurice was extremely responsive. We absolutely loved our stay here - would recommend to anyone!

The room cleanliness - 5 star out of 5 To enter the main door it requires August apps but the apps is not user friendly, can't even register for an account. Host provided physical to enter the main door and room - 4 star out of 5 Distance from the room to washroom is quite far - 3 star out of 5 Note: Some of the tenant didn't lock the main front door when exiting, leaving the main front door unlock, I hope that host will take note on this and improve the locking system.

it is a nice place. It is convenient to bring kids around.

Loved our stay here! The location is perfect and accommodation is great. Love the spared workspace, tv lounge, never had to wait for bathroom, plenty of washing machines. Buses leave for Bako and Selangor just opposite which is perfect too!

Maurice is a great host. Very responsible and very proactive. He responds quickly to any questions asked. The hostel also has a great price, quality rating. The room is bigger than others in Kuching.

My team and I stayed at Upspot for 10 nights, booked for the whole place with total 9 rooms. Great location and amenities, we feel like home even though far from our homeland. Maurice is good host, immediate reply for every message and prompt action for any request. Recommended for others to stay here. Worth it.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

We had a great stay. It’s not a typical Hostel where you connect and party. It’s more quiet and calm. We stayed in a private room and had a good time relaxing after having a full day in Kota.

Exactly what you would expect in a shared living experience, clean bathrooms a living space with furniture and snacks you can purchase for cheap. As well as the location, it’s perfectly located next to many cafes and restaurants, I honestly wish I stayed longer.

I love the view from the living room window! I like Jiran's own peanut butter, and the bread spread with peanut butter after baking is a good breakfast choice.
