Beachfront vacation rentals in East Malaysia

Located in JQ center Building 2, less than 200 meters from the pier for island hopping.The room is clean and tidy, there is a direct water dispenser for hot and ice water, and the water heater is instantly heated without waiting for boiling water.There is a pool and children's play facilities on the 7th floor and a gym on the 32nd floor.The downside is that the small windows in the room have no curtains in the morning, and the bathroom has no electrical outlets that can't blow hair inside.

From March 18-21, 2025, a family of 4 used the accommodation for 3 nights and 4 days~ There were 4 beds, including a sofa bed, so each of us could sleep well, and there were no cockroaches or other bugs in the accommodation. The air conditioner was cool, so I was able to rest comfortably.

Ron was very responsive and was easy to communicate. Place was near the airport landing but was not noisy. Room space was very spacious.

Nathan was a wonderful host. He was thoughtful, generous and always available even at short notice. The property was outstanding amazing beach views fantastic interior decoration with everything you could need for your holiday. We would love to come again.

There are no words for how beautiful Maratua is! Jun and Ana were amazing hosts -- we spent our very short 3-day stay snorkeling (the marine life right outside the guesthouse is incredible!) and on Kakaban Island. Jun and Ana lent us all the snorkeling gear and Amelia helped facilitate our stay before and after. Be aware that there isn't wifi or an ATM on the island, so come prepared! All in all, a magical stay, and I can't wait to return!

Very easy check-in. We arrived late in evening after a day of snorkelling near Semporna but had informed in advance but did not need to wait. They have a shop underneath the flat and so we left non essential luggage there overnight and in the morning before we checked out which was helpful. We were offered later check out as Aircon in master bedroom was not working nor was massage chair. However we were a bit rushed as we had agreed on a time but were rushed before agreed time. Seems there was confusion about next client arrival or something. Flat is lovely and has all mod cons and you can see the effort made especially in comparison to other places. View is lovely and there is a local park nearby which my children enjoyed. It's right next to a mosque and since we are not used to the noises we did not have best sleep. Owner recommended a nice restaurant that caters well for westerners especially kids called Pate Grill. Very good recommendation. We had fun and they have live music.

The place is very spacious and located in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood, making it ideal for large family gatherings. The house offers plenty of room for everyone to feel comfortable, and the parking area can accommodate up to four cars, which is very convenient for groups traveling with multiple vehicles. The provided manual is clear and easy to follow, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free self-check-in process. For those planning to order a lot of takeout or delivery food, it’s a good idea to bring extra plastic bags for trash to help manage waste during your stay. The security guard at the gate is friendly and welcoming, which adds to the overall sense of safety and comfort. While this isn’t directly related to the house, it’s highly recommended to use the road with the bridge to reach the location, as the beachside road can become dangerous at night during high tide. Overall, this is a fantastic place for a relaxing and enjoyable stay, especially for families or large groups looking

WOW - an amazing 5D/4N. 5 glorious days of relaxing: 2+h snorkeling trips every morning & even longer trips in the afternoons, fishing from the "flying banana", swimming with green turtles, evenings chilling on a private deck in the hammocks or ocean swing & just time to breathe & discover island life (outside of the westernised veneer of the resorts). It takes less than 30min to circumnavigate Mabul at a leisurely pace. We met Reed & Nor as hosts & guests but became friends. With no running hot water (that said the cold showers were refreshing & very welcome), no air con (in 39+ C but fans in our bedroom with a full opening wall to the deck provided more than adequate ventilation) & sporadic electricity it is not for everyone but adds to the authenticity of living on the island (& with power banks was no issue at all). Al (boat driver & turtle spotter 🐢 extrodinaire) & Ry (house helper) couldn't have been kinder when stepping up to run lodge unexpectedly. Amazing meals & perfect stay

Overall, everything is good. I will probable book another staycation here. Thank you for the good service <3
