I booked an evening at the Shepherd’s Hut last minute for a peaceful evening away from it all and it didn’t disappoint. It was the perfect place to sit and relax, do some reading and enjoy a glass or two of wine by the fire pit. The grounds were lovely and it felt like I was in the middle of nowhere. The shepherds hut itself is beautiful and it’s obvious a lot of love and hard work has gone into restoring it. It really is lovely. The bed was so comfortable and I had the best nights sleep I’ve had for ages! The bathroom facilities are also lovely and clean and only a few seconds walk from the hut itself. Jo was a very welcoming host and let me know she was on hand if I needed anything. I have recommended to a couple of friends and I will definitely be returning here in the not too distant future.

We had spent the most wonderful day and night at the Little Lodge. Abi was brilliant at booking, sharing recommendations of restaurants and walks nearby. She also provided at a tad extra wonderland platas which we thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the mature garden surrounded by trees and twinkly lights. The hot tub was piping hot as soon as we arrived, after enjoying that we lit the fire pit and enjoyed the birdsong into the evening. The Lodge itself was immaculate, had everything we needed with an added touch of decoration and fizz for our anniversary! We couldn't have asked for more- will definitely be back for longer next time!!

Had hoped for a peaceful, relaxing time away and that's exactly what we needed and got. Cabin has everything you could possibly need plus the added bonus of a hot tub! Yes, it's in someone's garden but you would honestly not know that once you are through the gates, so quiet and private you could be anywhere. We would definitely stay again.

Had a lovely stay over Easter weekend for my wife’s birthday. Very cosy cabin with all the essentials. Really well located for day trips by car or by bike. A short walk to the Silver Hinde and Hare and Hounds in the village which were both great for dinner. Even though the cabin is on the farm it is tucked away with privacy. Amanda couldn’t have been more helpful and was in touch to see whether we needed more firewood for the hot tub or fire pit and offered to light the hot tub for us if we were out and about. Overall a great stay

This was a return visit ,The Hut is beautifully looked after!! the goodies that are left you are first class just like everything else!! The location for me is perfect !! great walking ,5 mins in the car and you are in Beautiful Bosham or Emsworth and by bus 15 mins Chichester The view from Hut is trees and fields !! so it is abundant in wildlife!! Very Relaxing !! I will return!!

Very large hut, with dry toilet & shower cubicle in the hut. Full couch. Very comfortable mattress. Enclosed field area for the dog to run free. Hot tub was easy to manage (very clear instruction). Kitchen well equipped (4 hobs, cafetière, pots, pans, colander, grater, sharp knives, kitchen towels, etc) but no microwave because it's 12 volt electric from solar ( no standard plugs, just USB ones). There is a BBQ grill and pizza oven outside with the firepit. Wood was provided for everything. The horses made for good company. Good spot for star gazing and bird watch. Mo and Ann have been friendly, proactive and helpful. GOOD TO KNOW: The hot tub will be filled with fresh water when you arrive, so there is no chlorine. It's your responsibility to heat it with the provided logs. This process takes around 1 1/2 hours from cold. The water stays at about 36 overnight if covered so reheating is quicker. The kettle is stove top kettle so it takes a while to boil.

The hut was situated in a lovely location and exactly as Selina described it. It was reasonably priced and in excellent condition. I spent the night with my dog here watching the stars with a small fire and bbq. Would highly recommend. The shower was hot and easy to use and there was an excellent range of amenities. Thank you once again.

We really enjoyed our long weekend stay at Forget-me-not. The cabin was clean, warm, cosy and private. The jacuzzi was great with a lovely view over the fields. The garden was nice and secure so we could let our dog run free. We will definitely book this property again as its in a great location with lots of lovely countryside / coast to explore.
