Extremely peaceful and private location. The property is really nicely decorated with a massive comfy bed. Annie the host was really friendly and attentive. We had a lovely stay.

We had a lovely stay at this Airbnb! The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing visit. The location was quiet and convenient, and the host was friendly and responsive throughout. Just a couple of small suggestions: adding a curtain or blind to the front door would help with privacy, and the internet connection was a bit slow for streaming YouTube on the TV. Other than that, everything was great—we really enjoyed our time and would happily stay again. Thank you!

Only used as a place to stay after a wedding but would’ve loved to stay longer! Good communication, lovely and clean and very nicely decorated. Would definitely return

We are home after a Mon- Fri half term break at Admiral’s Watch, and we have had a wonderful time. Before we arrived we had clear directions from Nicky along with a really helpful list of recommendations for places to go with the kids. Getting to the property was easy and it was great to have a dedicated parking spot. The area is peaceful and completely beautiful. The small precinct of shops/ restaurants within the terrace was useful and didn’t intrude on our stay at all. The property itself is beautiful and just like the photos- the sea is right in front of the apartment making the views amazing. Nicky has styled the property beautifully and there was plenty of space for us as a family of four plus our dog. Activity wise I would recommend a trip to nearby Hurst Castle, and a meal at the Cliff House restaurant which was a short stroll away. Totally recommended, we had a great stay. Wonderful quirky house full of charm and character. We had a brilliant stay. Kids loved exploring the house and beautiful garden. In the words of my 5 year old, “best house ever!!!”. The ride on the old 1950’s Leyland double decker bus was a perfect way to end a marvelous break. Thank you to Monty and Claire for being superb hosts. Jon

The stay at the house was fantastic and nice you can es with the small bottles of shower gel and shampoo, also the unexpected tray of teas and coffees. Really responsive host and really friendly. Perfect location for peace by waters edge yet close enough to town. Would definitely stay here again.

We were looking for somewhere in the New Forest area to celebrate our wedding anniversary with family. This house was perfect for us all, 8 adults and 5 grandchildren. The house is in a beautiful, quiet location which is exactly what we wanted. The house has everything you need and more, fully fitted kitchen with massive island and dinning table. All rooms were spotless as well as the many toilets and bathrooms. We stayed in the master bedroom which is very tastefully decorated. The swimming pool was a big bonus, perfect size and depth for our Grandchildren and very warm. It also had a padlocked gate to keep the little ones out when playing in the garden. Our host Katie was brilliant from start to finish keeping us updated on the stay and very responsive to messages. She provided a welcome food pack of sausages, bacon, bread and essentials which was really appreciated. Katie even took the time to let our grandchildren help her feed her horses. Can’t wait to return!

We hired this for a few days with family to celebrate my nans 70th birthday. Absolutely beautiful house and gardens and the facilities are amazing. We live locally so knew about the area but loved having a swimming pool, tennis courts and snooker table for all of us to enjoy. The lounge was bigger than we thought and comfortably sat all of us. We also received a helpful guide a few days before our stay which gave us all the information we needed. Overall a really lovely stay, thank you!

We loved staying in the boathouse. Ideal for a family with children. Wonderful location looking over the creek . We didn’t hear the ferry which is 5 minutes away. We liked the sound of children playing on the other side of the creek. The pool area was recently upgraded. The property is well equipped and comfortable. Catherine was an excellent host who looked after every detail professionally.

We loved the lodge and this was the 2nd time we had come back. The windows were filthy, and there was cobwebs inside and out and just wasn’t very clean. We came back as the first time we thought it was beautiful. The skirting boards and bathrooms were grubby. Apart from it being dirty, for the amount charged, would have thought it would have been as nice as the first time we came.

What a wonderful peaceful location, with an abundance of wildlife visiting the enclosed garden with the star attraction being the red squirrels. The lodge was spotlessly clean, well maintained, quality furniture and very well equipped. Alison was an excellent host and we will definitely be returning. Sylvia, Nigel & Willow the dog.

Such a gorgeous little hut. If you’re someone who wants to eat breakfast whilst watching ducklings paddling across the pond, lambs jumping in the field and the sun setting over fields then this is for you. We loved getting away from all things tech - and the host was really helpful.

We have also just enjoyed a wonderful stay at Tori's cabin. Tori is the best of hosts, very friendly, fun to chat to and provides a most generous welcome pack of goodies. We used the cabin as a base for exploring a part of the country we had not visited before - the South Downs. The countryside in that area is really beautiful - so many mature trees! Many of the South Downs highlights are an easy drive from the cabin - the woods on Black Down are a must see. If you don't want to travel far, there are woods to climb through just behind the farm, or you can sit on the terrace amongst the trees and listen to the birds.

A lovely short stay in this forest hideaway with a simply outstanding view. Didn’t realise in advance that it was on two levels with all the facilities of home in terms of kitchen and bathroom. Upstairs - en suite bedroom with balcony - is warm and sunny. Downstairs - living + dining room and kitchen - stays cool. If you like your birds, you will particularly enjoy watching the plethora of species that come from the forest to the feeder - courtesy of the hosts who provide a generous tin of bird seed.

I had a great stay at Robin and Catherine's place, it was exactly what was needed for the start of my stay back in the UK, the weather was not great but they could not be blamed for that. The provisions they provided on check in were great and most appreciated arriving on a Sunday when most of the shops were closed and they were both very helpful with any small requests that I had.

The cabin was immaculate and really well thought out . lovely shower room and comfy bed. The breakfast was a pleasant addition. very well placed for attractions, we visited the skylark deer Park, Ashford Hangars, Petersfield Heath and lake, Sheet waterfall, Mother Kelly's (Thursday Gluten free). A nice range of games and books were also available. We enjoyed reading Ichigo Ichie.

Diane's accommodation was peacefully situated, very comfortable, and impeccably clean. The bed linens were fresh and tidy, and the bed itself was comfortable, allowing me to enjoy a restful night's sleep. All the listed amenities were available, and I appreciated the relaxing environment during several nights while working away from home.

My stay at Owl Barn couldn't have been bettered. It was superb. Absolutely outstanding. A beautiful barn conversion, done and equipped to the highest standard. Exquisitely beautiful, comfortable, private, quiet, peaceful, with green surroundings and good walks down country lanes and across farmland. Mark was friendly, kind, helpful, quick to respond to any queries, and gave me a guided tour of the place when I arrived, walking through what was where. I could have my dog with me too, which was an extra bonus, making the Barn perfect for us. Own Barn was equipped with an information folder, full of helpful and relevant info. Both Mark and his wife Carol have helped me out in the days following my stay as I was moving into the area and looking for contacts and recommendations relating to my new house. They couldn't have been kinder or more helpful and finding Owl Barn for this stay was an absolute godsend.

This was our second stay here, and just like the first, it was absolutely wonderful. Catherine was a fantastic host, and her place was as welcoming and charming as ever. As an added bonus, we were lucky enough to see a newborn foal and two playful lambs during our stay — a real treat! We also enjoyed a scenic walk to the Pub with No Name and a delicious meal once we got there. Thank you for a truly lovely weekend escape.
