Apartment vacation rentals in Durham

We stayed here for a couple of weeks whilst working in the area. Parking is on the quiet street, and we always managed to park very close to the house. The house is as described, comfortable and has all the amenities required. Will stay again when working in the area.

Really enjoyed our stay in Yvonne’s property. The flat was pristine, very spacious and the guidebooks and treats really made the difference. My mother and I would definitely return should we need accommodation in Newcastle again - thank you!

This was the third (or maybe the fourth??) time my family has stayed in Sophie’s lovely place, and each time they always feel so at home! Communication is super-clear at all times, and the welcome pack is so appreciated. The kitchen was incredibly well set-up for cooking Christmas dinner, too!

Lovely modern apartment with good facilities. Comfy beds and nice to have 2 bathrooms. We found the walk into town a bit too much so used taxis which were very reasonably priced. Ate at Little Sicily one night, following a review seen on Airbnb. Good food, very reasonable. Ate at Uno Momento in town also, which we highly recommend. Thank you for the wine that greeted us upon arrival!

We stayed 3 nights in Karens apartment. The apartment is nice (perfect for 2 couples). The location is very nice, close to the beach, an easy walk into Sunderland centre, easy access from the Metro and a bus stop close by. Many pubs and restaurants in the area. We would like to comeback back to this apartment.

This was my third stay at Ben’s flat for a short, work-related trip. The flat was extremely clean as usual, cosy as described, 20 min away on foot from Newcastle University where I work, very close to HayMarket and the city centre, which is perfect for me. Ben is always helpful and friendly. I would heartily recommend the flat for a single person or a couple !

Dean's apartment was clean, comfy and just as described. The location was perfect for us visiting relatives in the area. The metro is a short walk which gave easy access to the city centre. We would recommend Dean's apartment.

This location suited us, it was close to the beach, local cafes and shops. It had everything we needed. Parking wasn't easy, no doubt becuase of the time of year, but we manged to park close by when we did move the car. Susan left clear instructions before check in and it was easy to get into the property. We would recommend. Thank you 😊

Norman and Anne were fantastic hosts; truly deserving their superhost status. Excellent communication throughout. A warm, friendly Northern welcome. Apartment exactly as described and a traditional, cosy little gem. Spotlessly clean, parking on drive, quiet surroundings and a good base for our visit to the North-East. A home from home with everything you need to cook if staying in. Great value for money. Would highly recommend and will be 1st choice for any future visits up North.

We had an incredible experience staying at Billy's property! From the moment we arrived, Billy was an outstanding host, making sure everything was perfectly in place and ready for our arrival. The house was spacious and easily accommodated all 6 of us with plenty of room to spare. One of the highlights of our stay was being greeted with freshly baked blueberry muffins – a thoughtful and delicious touch that made us feel right at home. The house had all the amenities we needed, making it feel just like our own home. We particularly enjoyed the private access to the property and the hot tub, which was a great way to unwind after a day of exploring. Great stay!! Hot tub was immaculate so was the cottage , sofa and bed extremely comfortable and clean. Would 100 percent return here!! Only thing I think it should be 11am checkout and 2pm like alot of other lodges/cottages. Thanks for the little break

I rarely ever write reviews but this one was too amazing not to. Everything from the small details for my sister's birthday to the place blew us away. It's like a small paradise & completely unique. Very private & peaceful! I 100% would return, you will not regret booking this gem of a place. Thank you the most amazing hosts for being so kind & thoughtful!

Last minute decision to have a night away and Toms place was spot on! Perfect peaceful location, the annexe is gorgeous with everything we could need. The hot tub was dreamy even in the drizzle as the sun went down over the fields. Tom was a great host firing up the hot tub for us and recommending the fabulous Crown Inn for a great dinner! Thank you!
