Chris was an incredibly gracious host. We connected after our family had a really rough time with another host. He went out of his way to ensure our family of 6 felt comfortable and welcome. I deal with a consistent amount of intensity in my career, and Chris' place gave us the escape and serenity that our family needed. He was always responsive and available when we had questions, yet very professional and kind. I would highly recommend this vacation home due to equal parts the accommodations themselves, but also the level of service that Chris adds to it all. I would absolutely stay again! The place is amazing and very clean same as the photos, Jamie was so friendly and responsive and also his wife when asking questions. The price really worth paying for what we found. I would recommend it for any one and definitely not going to be our last time. Thank you for having us!!

Stay was great, cabin much bigger than it looks from the road or in the photos. Lots of separate areas to gather if you have a large family or extra guests. Hot tub was great. We were there at the tail end of winter so mostly hunkered down by the fire or in the hot tub, would be an amazing summer stay!

The home as absolutely amazing! Incredibly clean, easy to find with clear instructions on how to get in. We were in awe at how much was provided. If you had forgotten anything there was a good chance it was available! Overall it was the perfect place for a nice relaxing weekend.

Little retreat reminds us of the importance of a place like this. To reappreciate what the wild has to share, not only the physical gifts, but the power to recharge the mind and ground the soul. Lovely spot to be integtated once again with the environment from which we all came!

This is a nice little cabin close to lake Winnipeg, great place to stay if you're planning on fishing lake Winnipeg.

Marc has a rustic cottage close to the Lake in a beautiful wooded area. I grew up in Winnipeg but moved out east 25 years ago. The cottage was right out of my childhood. We loved the screened in area in the back of the cottage and ate all our meals out there. We enjoyed fires in the evening and all the space to play outdoor games. It was great having a long sandy beach near by. Marc had so many things for the kids to do: Lego, games, puzzles and videos. The kids had a great time.

Great location right on the water, and had everything we needed for our stay from the bbq, living spaces and water access. Dan was a great communicator. Only hiccup was the lack of toilet paper and paper towel. We had to make a run in the morning to grab our own supplies for the cabin, Dan was accommodating and let us use their fire wood for the inconvenience but it would be something to make sure is stocked for future guests.

Our family with a baby and 5 year old had a great time :) we love gimli, and staying somewhere so close to all the action was great for us. We were able to walk everywhere, see the lake, this would be the perfect place in the summer being so close to the water. The absolute one and ONLY thing I would suggest is maybe adding in a foldable crib/ playpen for babies, because this place is the perfect place for families with kids. We had to bring our baby’s bassinet with us which wasn’t 100% ideal. Other than that Nancy and her husband were so nice, the house is so cozy and clean and they literally had everything you’d need! Even condiments in the fridge and spices for food! I loved the cozy throw blankets as well, so perfect for a movie night in :) would definitely stay here again and for long periods of time.
